Your Body, Your Choices
Worry Doesn't Work • That's what you have to know in order to figure out the true answers to questions like "What is the meaning of life," or "Is it My Body and My Choice?" Jesus asks the question in Matthew 6, Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? And if you're not a Christian, it's not! But if you're part of God's family, your life and your body is SO MUCH MORE! 💥BECOME A PARTNER & GET FREE BONUS STUFF! patreon.com/JonLGroves ⭐️MAKE A ONE TIME GIFT: https://shorturl.at/abvB4
A Fatherless Generation
Daddy Issues have plagued a generation and are a leading cause in #anxiety. Whether you have a great dad, or you come from a broken or toxic home, this message from Matthew 6 will offer so much #anxietyrelief as you come to understand how your heavenly Father thinks about you. For the believer, anxiety is rooted in a low understanding of one’s value to God. But God is always going to take care of you - because that's what dads are supposed to do!
P.S. WATCH UNTIL THE END for "An Open Letter From God To You."
The Antidote To Anxiety
CHANGE MY MIND • That's the honest and silent prayer of so many Christians struggling with doubts, fears, anxiety and depression. In this journey through Matthew 6, Pastor Jon Groves helps us discover the cure to wrong patters of thinking in the very words of Jesus from the sermon on the mount. Grab your Bible, because wrong patterns of thinking are about to melt away, not because the world around us is changing, but because the heart inside us is being transformed by this incredible truth.
God & Good Works
Glory To The Father • The purpose of our shining is not that men should look upon us, but that they should see our Father in heaven! What do they think of Him when they see us? Doubtless, as a city set on a hill, we cannot be hidden. When we are seen, what message are we sharing? Join Pastor Jon Groves in Matthew 5 for the conclusion of the Salt and Light series. This message is all about THE FATHER!
Let It Shine!
Let it shine! That's it. You don't have to turn it on and off. You don't need to shine it in people's faces. And you definitely don't need to dim it. Let it shine! The active pursuit of not dimming it. Join Pastor Jon Groves in Matthew 5 as we take a look at three ineffective lights and the 4 legs of the stand on which your light can shine.
If You Are The Light Of The World
7 Deadly Sins • These exist as the dark contrast to God's light. Sin destroys. Sin darkens. Sin decays. And Jesus said, "you are the light of the world." So how do I know if I'm "lit?" Join Pastor Jon Groves as we journey through Matthew 5 and discover 3 attributes of light. Are they true of you? •••••••••••••••

The Salt Has Lost Its Flavor
You're Salt • That's what Jesus said in Matthew 5, but what in the world does that even mean? Do I have to do something to be salty? Should I ask God to make me salt? In the message of Jesus, salt is the identity of the believer not an aspirational project. Be careful though, salt can lose its flavor!

Christian Persecution
Peacemaking & Persecution are equally marks of true Christianity. Those who follow Christ faithfully will demonstrate concern for the peace of humanity and foster peace...and they will definitely be persecuted. But, what is persecution? Does the church have some "christian persecution complex?" And why do the persecuted seem to...well....like it? Join Pastor Jon Groves in the final verses of the Beatitudes in Jesus' Sermon On The Mount. Blessed are the peacemakers. Blessed are the persecuted.

How To See God
Pure In Heart • Not "Blessed are the virgins." Matthew 5:8 means something much greater and far deeper. Take it from Matthew who left everything on the table to follow Jesus. He SAW GOD! And in his gospel, he will detail how you can sed God, too! Today, we live in an age of sexual dysphoria, "christian purity culture" and checklist religion that has damaged the definition of "pure." What is "Purity?" What is "heart?" And what does it mean to SEE GOD? Find out as Pastor Jon Groves dives into this Beatitude in the sermon on the mount.

Spiritual Famine, Patriotism & Unity | Micah 7:1-6
No Godly Men • As the prophet looks around, there is a death of godly people on the earth. It's a famine. Even the seemingly most righteous are like briars one must watch out for. They have unity, but they don't have Yahweh. Micah 7:1-6

Disappointed In Jesus
Jesus will disappoint you if you don't understand how God's economy works. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says, "Blessed are the meek, Blessed are the merciful and Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness." Don't miss this powerful devotion from Pastor Jon Groves from God's Word in Matthew 5.
Jesus Is The Breaker | Micah 1&2
Breakthrough in Christ | But what is breakthrough and why do you need it? In Micah 1 & 2, the courtroom of justice has passed down a decision against Israel and Judah: GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES! But amid this message of coming destruction, Micah shares a word of hope! THE BREAKER IS COMING! Watch this message from Pastor Jon Groves in Micah 1 & 2 to discover why you need a breakthrough and how to receive it today!
Don't Be Surprised • Micah 6:9-16
God keeps His promises. While that should be abundantly positive, it is a sorrow to some. Nothing in this passage will be new or shocking, even though Israelites will respond as if they've never heard it before. The consequences rise to meet the level of the trespass.
1. What are you all about?
2. Are you happy or sad about God's promises made and promises kept?
Happy Are The Sad
You have to be sad in order to be happy? God's economy often doesn't match the ideals of this world. Jesus said, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." in Matthew 5. What does it mean to mourn? In this passage we'll discover something deeper than simple pain. This MOURN is the heaviest of all sad words in Scripture and it must certainly be part of the life of the happy believer.
What Does God Require? • Micah 6:6-8
What does God want? We are beckoned not to ask as if we have not already been told over and again. 3 things Yahweh requires: Do justice, Love mercy, walk humbly with God. Are you coming to God with questions like a spoiled brat? Does it seem like you can never "do enough?" Good news, these are not new questions and the answers stand firm.
1. What do you think about God?
2. Are you ritual or relationship?
3. Is humble something you're striving to DO or is humility something you love?
God On Trial • Micah 6:1-5
Step into the courtroom as God testifies on His own behalf. The cause for judgment stands. From Balak to Balaam, from Shittim to Gilgal, God testifies of his faithfulness to His people.
1. Have you repented?
2. What has God done?
3. Time for Gilgal?
Are You Safe? • Micah 5:10-15
Do you feel safe? What are you trusting? Where's your faith?
3 Questions that might sound near identical, but each of them calls to deep, specific aspects of our life. In Micah 5:10-15, Pastor Jon continues our verse by verse study as we discover what brings the wrath of God and how to know if you are safe from it.
The Power of Poverty
Matthew 5:3
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (ESV)
Why Are Christians So Unhappy?
Most people aren't happy. Even Christians wonder if they'll ever be truly happy. But God is concerned with the happiness of His children and in Matthew 5, Jesus preaches a sermon on how to be truly happy.

Israel & The Millennial Reign | Micah 4:1-5
Last Days Prophecy as foretold by the prophet Micah in chapter 4. Today, as we study the Scriptures we will uncover some truths about the physical location of Israel, her people and the kingdom that will be established there.
Prophets and Profits, Truth Preachers & Ritualistic Religion | Micah 3:5-12
Loyalty to God VS Loyalty to the preacher can often appear, at surface level to be synonymous. In Micah 3, the prophet demonstrates what sets a true minister from God apart from a false teacher of the people. Israel though rituals would save them, but God lists His indictment against the leaders and teachers of the day.
Journal Questions:
1. Do you only embrace those who embrace you? (Or those you hope will embrace you?)
2. Litmus Test For True Preachers: A. Foundation B. For C. Fruit
3. Is Jesus your logo or your LORD?
When God Hides + Shepherd VS Butcher Leadership | Micah 3:1-4
Numbers 6's "The Lord make His face to shine upon you" contrasted with Micah 3 where God hides his face from the cry of the people is so stark that we must ask, "when or why would God ever hide his face?" Also in Micah 3, we'll see the difference between shepherds and butchers when it comes to leading sheep. Journal Questions: 1. What is your function and how does your faith impact that? 2. What/Who are you sacrificing FOR? 3. What are you asking God FOR?
Prosperity Preaching, Prophecy & The Breaker | Micah 2:12-13
Gospel preaching is not all bad news, nor is it all good news. False teaching happens when one only presents half of the truth. In Micah 2:12-13, we'll discover the purpose for prophecy, Micah's message of hope, the Millennial fulfillment and a most unique Messianic title.
False Prophets & Questioning God | Micah 2:6-11
How do false prophets operate? Who are you listening to? And when is it time to question God? All this, and more as we study the Scriptures in Micah 2. Open your Bible...
God Hates Oppression • Micah 2:1-5
God hates sin, but he especially hates premeditated oppression through greed and covetousness. In Micah's day, there was economic prosperity and peace on a macro scale, but people's hearts were far from God as they openly practiced sin in the daylight. Where you find distressed people, you will always find oppressive leadership, and God has something to say about those whose relationship is not right with Him.
