Show #26 - Ohio State vs Notre Dame (21-10) Review
The Buckeyes hosted the #5 team in the nation, Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
This was a tough hard-fought game. Most people expected a blowout on national television with an explosive performance from the Buckeye offense. Instead, we witnessed a coming-out party for the Silver Bullets. Take away two fluky plays (missed tackles and crazy reception) and the Fighting Irish had no answer for the revamped Jim Knowles defense.
There's no reason to panic because a win is a win and the offense should bounce back the next two weeks. Hopefully, there will be video game numbers because Columbus will be hosting Arkansas State and Toledo. Have fun and stay safe Buckeye Nation. Go Bucks!!
Show #25 - The Buckeyes are Back!! The 2022 Season is about to begin!
The new season (2022) is about to begin. The Buckeyes are back and ready to roll. They are ranked #2 and they will be hosting the #5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Columbus. Ohio State is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Horseshoe and bringing back the 2002 National Champions to honor their 20th anniversary of that accomplishment. The Buckeyes will be explosive on offense with the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy, QB CJ Stroud. He has plenty of weapons to throw to and Henderson will try to capitalize on his redshirt Freshman season at Running Back. The biggest question mark will be surrounding that defense. HC Ryan Day hired DC Jim Knowles to improve the performance of the Silver Bullets. Buckeye Nation - it's time to be excited. There are plenty of high hopes of a potential national championship season. Let's take one game at a time and not overlook any opponents. Get ready because the season is about to begin. Go Bucks!!

The Buckeyes looked impressive two weeks in a row after jumping all over Rutgers from the very beginning. If you blinked, you missed 24 unanswered points in the opening 12 minutes of the game by Ohio State.
Starting Quarterback, C.J. Stroud came back from having a week off to nurse his aligning throwing shoulder. He looked poised in the pocket and took control of the offense. He finished the day completing 17 of 23 passes for 330 yards and five touchdowns. The veteran Wide Receiver Chris Olave got back to his normal self by catching 5 balls for a total of 119 yards and two scores. Those two touchdowns moved him into a fourth-place tie with NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter on Ohio State’s all-time receiving touchdown list.
The defense continued their dominating ways after some early-season struggles. They had only one bad play all game. The Silver Bullets had a total had three interceptions and Freshman Cornerback Denzel Burke took one of them to the house for a Pick Six. Safety Ronnie Hickman continues to shine by leading the team in tackles and contributed another seven for the day. Defensive Tackle Tyleik Williams performed well and should be seeing more playing time after adding another sack to his resume.
Overall, the Buckeyes took control of the game earlier and coasted to an easy victory after halftime. The final score could have been much worse for the Scarlet Knights, 52-13. Ohio State will continue to build confidence as they welcome Maryland into the Horseshoe this Saturday.
Show #14
Ohio State looked like the team we know and love by blowing out a lessor opponent in Akron, 59-7. This was a good opportunity for Ryan Day to sit starting Quarterback CJ Stroud and let him rest his hurt throwing shoulder. The young Buckeyes made history by starting a true Freshman at QB and RB for the first time ever. QB McCord "threw" for over 300 yards while RB Henderson looks to have made his case to be the starting Running Back for the rest of the season. The defense finally looked like the Silver Bullets. They only gave up 229 total yards (153 passing / 76 rushing), had two interceptions (one was a pick six), and nine total sacks. Team Captain DT Haskell Garrett racked up three sacks on the day. Buckeye Nation, I know it was against Akron but start thinking positive thoughts. Let's build off of this momentum and get ready for B1G Ten conference games.
Show #13
The Buckeyes won a very clunky game against Tulsa, 41-20. The score does not tell you the entire story. The Buckeyes needed a record-setting performance by Freshman RB TreyVon Henderson to win this game. Quarterback CJ Stroud didn't look right by completing 15 out of 25 passes for 185 yards with 1 TD / 1 Int. The defense struggled again by allowing over 500 yards of offense to the Golden Hurricane. The Buckeyes won the game but their national perception dropped again by being lowered in the AP Rankings to #10. Let's hope they get things turned around quickly over the next couple of weeks. They will be going up against Akron, Rutgers, and Maryland.
Show #12
Well, that was not the outcome that most of us were expecting. Ohio State hosted the #12 Oregon Ducks and watched them fly back to Eugene with a win over the Buckeyes (35-28). Buckeye Nation has every right to be upset but do not lose hope. The season is not lost and we can still achieve great things this year. We are still 1-0 in conference play and look to correct those defensive mistakes this week against Tulsa. Let's hope HC Ryan Day is able to make some adjustments with DC Kerry Coombs. If not, this could be a very unusual and long season.

Finally, it is being reported that the Big Ten, Pac-12, and ACC have been talking about forming an Alliance to fight against the SEC and their takeover of college football.

The five-star QB from Texas, Quinn Ewers, will be skipping his senior season of high school to join the Buckeyes within the next month. What does all of this mean for Ohio State moving forward?
