Satshya is a journalist (who has worked with The Hindu, CNN IBN, Network18 Media & Investments Limited) & now an independent content creator who grew her audience from 5000 to over 40,000+ people during the tumultuous year that was 2020. Not only does she enlighten us on how to do more & better with less through her content but her career embraces this motto as well. Maker's Asylum led a community-powered initiative called the M-19 initiative that saw the creation of over 1 million face shields in 49 days to help frontline workers at a time of need & severe PPE shortages. The outsider-filmmaker non-judgmentally captures the emotional essence of an important & complex urban centre while reflecting on how we survive our paradoxical world. To her, Jugaad is the connective tissue of the city and is at the crux of survival in our world today.
