Merry…Happy…New…Podcast season….year? Welcome to Season 3 of Jus’ ole talk. Today we finally release a new episode after month of planning. We had to make it perfect just for you, but then we ran out of time. So grab a chair, hold a beer, welcome back to de Ole Talk.

We started this podcast as a way to speak on Trinidad and the Caribbean from a place of love and in that spirit we ask “where do we want to see Trinidad in 10 years” Hopefully we will have no gun tune ban, #Trinibadtodeworl. Also we’ve been getting hit up in our DM’s so we’re starting this week with a new segment “Jus a question” so you could join in de ole talk. If you have anything you want us to address on a future episode, Jus jump in the DM’s and we’ll answer on a future episode.

Carnival is woman, Carnival is Mas, but most of all, carnival is a VIBE, and the music that drives the Mas is solely responsible for that vibe. This week we talk about the invasion of Afrobeats into Carnival. Is this our diaspora coming to jam with us, or something subversive to the soca. What do women want? This week we tackle the statement “I can do bad.. gyal tings all by myself”, is that too old a reference? Your perception of this episode might see us as ballers, believe me, we still need to work for the man, but what if we didn’t? Find out this week, as we continue the ole talk.
