Jordan is a Texas author/artist who has been working on his craft over the last 10 years. As a child, he could always be found with a pencil or crayon in hand; dreaming up creative story ideas, new characters, or funny doodles to entertain his family. After caring for his Uncle Kelly who had Down syndrome he saw that there was a great lack of understanding and compassion for those with special needs. His goal with the Kelly series is to educate young children on the unique needs of those with Down syndrome that most parents or schools oftentimes inadvertently fail to teach them. Jordan's hope is that by helping kids understand Down syndrome we can create a ripple effect of kindness in the community that will honor his uncle’s memory.
