Illinois Representative Latoya Greenwood on School Food Waste Bill SB805
In 2021, Illinois passed historic school food waste solution legislation through SB805.   The legislation stated that school districts SHALL establish a plan in their wellness policy to address unused food within their school districts.  Representative Greenwood co-sponsored the bill in Illinois, and she shares her thoughts  about the bill and the importance of school food waste solutions in this episode of the K-12 Food Rescue Podcast.
