211. Cooking with Kids, A New Cookbook by Bri Grajkowski
Do you want to be able to cook with confidence with your kids? Bri Grajkowski of BriGeeski is sharing the solution so that you can get the skills you need to make delicious meals your whole family will love. "When they were interested, I followed their lead, and when they were ready to cook, that's the best time to cook with them." Bri Grajkowski is a mother of two who blogs about family fun activities, everyday recipes and travel. She is also a creative director and helps other companies with their design and marketing. She didn't have any training or background in culinary but learned to cook when she had kids. This is Bri Grajkowski's story... Bri Grajkowski is a mother, blogger, and creative director who recently published a cookbook called Cooking with Kids. She didn't have any training or background in culinary arts, but learned to cook when she had kids of her own. After the pandemic, she reached out to one publisher and they agreed to publish a cookbook with her children's cooking recipes. In her cookbook, Bri suggests different recipes that can help broaden a kid's palate. She suggests introducing new foods and micro portioning for kids. It's tough with little friends around too because kids gravitate to what their friends are doing and they don't want to follow suit. According to the cookbook, making a list of dinners and putting them into categories is a good way to break up the routine of meals In this episode, you will learn the following: 1. How Bri Grajkowski learned to cook when she had kids 2. What recipes are included in Bri's cookbook 3. How to get kids interested in cooking and trying new foods Pre-order Bri's Book here: Follow her on Instagram @brigeeski Be sure to subscribe to the podcast by clicking here. Liked what you heard? 203. A Body Positive Fashion App For Women By Women with Mys Tyler Creator Sarah Neill
I sat down with Sarah Neill, CEO and Founder of the body positive fashion app called Mys Tyler to get the scoop on why she developed an app that was clearly missing from the fashion industry!  What is Mys Tyler™? Did you know around 91% of the clothes we buy online aren’t a good fit? We suspect it’s because 91% of us don’t share the same body as the online models. This means up to 40% of clothes will end up being returned, with many more banished to the back of the closet. That’s why we created Mys Tyler, a platform that lets you discover fellow women of a similar height, size, shape and more, so you can see how an outfit will fit on YOUR body. Think of our Contributors as your own fashion body doubles who are actively trying on clothes, styling them and showing you where to buy them. If it looks good on them, it will look great on you! By helping you find clothing that fits you EVERY time, you’ll save time, the industry will reduce returns, and less clothes will end up in landfill. Wins all around! You need to download the app to your phone ASAP! Be sure to subscribe to the podcast by clicking here. Liked what you heard? 202. Being a Stay At Home Mom and Why I Always Feel Guilty
Being a stay at home mom for the past year has filled me with an overwhelming amount of guilt. Guilt of not contributing to my family, guilt of not being a working mom, guilt of not doing "the daily grind" or the hustle, or finding work/life balance. I built an imaginary narrative in my head that there were certain expectations that I was not meeting and therefore constantly filling my days with errands and DIY projects and home organizations so I could see a tangible reward for my efforts.  I know a lot of you have felt the same way, especially after I posted this video on Instagram.

90's Nostalgia with Jennifer McGill of The All New Mickey Mouse Club
It is no secret that The All New Mickey Mouse Club produced superstars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell and dozens more. This show was a launching pad for stars of the y2k era and my guest Jennifer McGill had a front row seat. As a cast member on all 7 seasons of MMC, Jennifer had the chance to showcase her stellar vocal talent with covers of her favorite songs, interview pop-stars of the time and even perfect her acting skills with my personal favorite skit, "As the Mall Turns".  Tune in to hear about her experience and see what she's up to now that the mouse-ears have been hung up!  More about Jennifer from her site: With over 30 years of showbiz under her belt, she now tells the stories of her rollercoaster ups and downs like never before, as a Speaker, Worship Leader, Songwriter, Coach, and Inspirational Pop Recording Artist. What started as almost a clean sweep of nearly 50 pageant victories from age seven in a small Texas town quickly evolved into seven seasons in Orlando on the Disney Channel’s wildly popular The All-New Mickey Mouse Club in the late ‘80s well into the ‘90s, which Jennifer describes as a sort of “‘Saturday Night Live’ for kids” featuring interviews, skits, variety show-styled razzle dazzle, and of course, loads of singing. A quick internet search shows her performing alongside a slew of internationally renowned stars, and throughout a real time conversation, she just as casually mentions how Michael Jackson used to visit the set as a major fan of their show or the time when Celine Dion helped calm her nerves prior to an inauguration performance for President Bill Clinton at the Kennedy Center.  Be sure to subscribe to the podcast by clicking here. Setting Boundaries and Learning to Prioritize with Kelli Hayes Smith
Join me as I chat with Productivity & Purpose Coach, Kelli Hayes Smith about how to prioritize, set healthy boundaries and not feel the need to “do all the things”. More about Kelli from her website: HEY Y’ALL, KELLI HERE. JUST A SMALL TOWN GIRL LIVING IN FANTASY LAND. I married my high school sweetheart, I’m a mom to a married 20 something, a teenager, & a preschooler – all boys. I love all elastic wasted pants, believe no outfit is complete without fuzzy socks, am obsessed with coffee mugs, and speak fluent Gilmore girl. If you ring my doorbell (or my DMs) & I don’t answer – I’m probably just out for a run, cruising the Target dollar aisle, waiting for a jolt in the Dunkin drive thru – or – my personal favorite… Walkin’ right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. Now let’s talk about me. I went to school to be a scrub tech, and while I love being in surgery – the schedule did NOT suit the lifestyle I wanted to live. By being away from my family more than I was home, I was watching too much of their lives on facetime and wasn’t there nearly as much as I wanted to be. I had my last baby in 2018, and I never went back to the hospital after maternity leave. But I KNEW I had to do something for myself. So I took my side gig of planning Disney vacations, and turned it into a full time job. And it was going well. I mean I LOVE Disney World so that should make me happy right!? Well, I mean yeah – kind of. And I coasted with that for a couple years. I was with an agency that provided limited training in systems + socials, so I was left to figure it out all on my own.. and when 2020 shut down all of travel… I found out it wasn’t planning travel I loved… it was creating content. I’ve worked in the online space since, with multiple different business types – helping with systems + socials… but I always attracted Travel Professionals more than anyone else. And that’s what I love doing! I’m thankful for the time I spent in the general online entrepreneurship space – I learned so much goodness I can bring back to the travel industry. In 2022, I’ve decided to serve only travel professionals, by offering… Social Media Management Social Media Start Up VIP Days Instagram Audits You can also find me as an expert at Careers on Vacation working with the amazing team travel industry expert, Cyndi Williams has assembled.
