Without missing a beat, we are dropped right back into East High and “What Time Is It?” SUMMERTIME! Students are literally counting down the seconds to freedom— wait, scratch that— counting down the seconds to getting jobs. Never have you ever met a group of students more obsessed with being employed. Lucky for everyone (and I do mean everyone) Troy gets them all jobs at a country club run by Sharpay and Ryan’s family (the most “fabulous” and delusional family you could ever want to be a part of).

This movie is summer love where romance is a picnic on a golf course and chucking grapes at someone’s face; it’s a club talent show that’s rigged for the owners kids; it’s coded gay baseball scenes; it’s more hat and t-shirt sayings than you can count and it’s learning about boy disease— it’s SERIOUS! And you can “Bet On It” that Troy is split between his future and letting his friends down, Gabriella having to “Go Her Own Way,” and Sharpay and Ryan ABSOLUTELY appropriating another culture!

Hello Give Me That D fam! Get out your tissues, because this one is emotionalllll. We’re breaking down “A Ring of Endless Light” with one of our dearest, Adrienne Teeley!

Now, this is an interesting film because it’s not so much a “DCOM” as it is a HEART WRENCHING drama that left all of us weeping. This film finds three siblings arriving on an island to spend the summer with their beloved Grandfather (greatest man alive). Our main gal Vicky (Mischa Barton) is a head-in-the-clouds artist who finds herself in a love triangle with fun boy, Zachery, and dolphin scientist nerd, Adam. It’s a pretty run of the mill summer coming of age story EXCEPT Vicky finds out she can communicate telepathically with dolphins. So jealous.

This movie hits on, growing up, love, death, passions, drift nets, and most importantly how dolphins have PAWS (the FUQ?!). And if that wasn’t enough, they also had to make Vicky a dolphin doula… because why not?!

TBH, we actually love this movie??!!! Hope you love it too!

This ain’t the TV show, let’s just say THAT. But if you love peanuts, boy are you in for a the ride of your life. It would be easier to say what this movie DOESN’T have, but just to whet your appetite, there’s a secret formula used in a “pork-nut”, a mad scientist who’s building an army of peanut people, a rapper named 15 Cent, a dance crew of 16-year-olds trying to “crunk”, CLONES, a horny Sugar Mama (which is the best part), and a gun that turns peanuts into peanut butter.

This one is just cuckoo! Also, WHERE was the Destiny’s Child theme song featuring Solange??? Blasphemy!

“Wake up and pee! The world’s on fire!” Happy Holidays, GMTD babies! This week is a TRUE Christmas gift, “Life-Size 2: A Christmas Eve” with Ryan Parseghian!

As Ryan says, this is a film that can only be described as “a gay corporate film” and clearly a “catalyst for Ron DeSantis’ anti-woke movement.” This film truly is a masterpiece of “gay realism,” scenes exclusively starting with drinking or waking up, woke propaganda, Tyra rapping, Lil’ Yachty, a reluctant CEO, a wrongfully imprisoned doll creator, sassy friends, a young 12-year-old neighbor/friend who ends up saving a woman’s job, Christmas (???), and OF COURSE a doll that comes to life to help save all her doll friends.

“Merry Christmas! Happy Kwanza! Happy Hanukkah! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!” Enjoyyy!!!

Get your head in the game! This week we’re breaking down the I.C.O.N.I.C., High School Musical! And joining us we have HSM virgin, Carolyn Cicalese and Jake Delaney!

What can we say that you don’t already know? It’s the movie that launched 1,000 ships. We have Zac, Vanessa, and Ms. Darbus! It’s Grease 3 in Utah; it’s a commentary on the power of hobbies; it’s basketball stars and mathletes; it’s one of the most important brother/sister duos we’ve ever seen; a top 100 soundtrack; it’s theater and obviously, it’s an allegory for being bi-sexual!

This week on GMTD, we have the incomparable Elissa Marcus here to talk about (according to IMDB “trivia”) one of the most obscure DCOMs of all time — Buffalo Dreams!

This movie is about a boy named Josh who moves to New Mexico with his science loving dad and “culinary anthropologist” mom. Josh is OBSESSED with biking (as is this movie) to the point we felt like the title should be called “Biking Dreams”. Josh teams up with Thomas, a Navajo boy who is single handedly in charge of a wild herd of Buffalo (where are the adults??) and the two of them go on a journey to accept one another, connect with nature, and of COURSE train Josh to win a bike race that determines the future of the Navajo’s sacred land… seems about white, er, right.

This movie surprised us in good and bad ways, but we’re pleased to report it isn’t as racially insensitive as we were prepared for. So have a blast and enjoyyyyy!

GMTD babies! We’re energized yet traumatized this week because we watched “Hounded”! And here to trauma bond with us is Myke Thompson (whose life eerily mirrors the exact plot of this movie???).

If we’re being honest, this movie is mostly about a possessed pomeranian who absolutely ruins the lives of two separate families. It is one of the most insane and hard to watch DCOMs these humble hosts have ever had to sit through. The DESTRUCTION of a house, the DESTRUCTION of a man, and the DESTRUCTION of our will to live is a testament to what kind of film you’re in for. It’s hard to really understand what kind of torture this movie is, but just know there is a stolen speech, the threat of military school, a DICK older brother (hot though), EXTORTION, bowling balls to the face, a bag full of turkeys, and a dog with 20 lives.

Calling all witches! This week on GMTD, we are wrapping up the iconic Halloweentown franchise with Return to Halloweentown! And here to help us, as is tradition, are Maggie Smith and Kyle Mantegna of the Roommate Lovers podcast!

This movie has a lot going on, but the most notable (and questionable) thing is that Marnie, our main character, is RE-CAST! Halloweentown without Kimberly J. Brown feels downright disrespectful (though we do love Ms. Sara Paxton). Not to worry though, there’s plenty of things to make up for it. Like, no magic being allowed at a Witch University, (Ok?? What’s the point???), time travel, witches phoning each other through soup pots and washing machines, an ancient prophecy, a new crush on an old enemy, and a really, really bad witch’s broom.

Katelyn couldn’t be here this week (she’s experiencing deep FOMO) but she can attest that this episode is a goodie!

Welcome to spooky SZN, witches! This week on GMTD, we’re breaking down “Twitches Too” with our switch (sister witch) Claire Woolcott!

This movie is a mess from top to bottom, but WOW are Tia and Tamera watchable! This movie starts exactly where we left off with the first installment (we think???), but with more animosity and worse acting??? Once again, a shadow presence is threatening the kingdom of Coventry, or is the shadow presence the long lost king who sacrificed his life to save his daughters?? It’s hard to know who’s evil and who’s not, which twin loves which boy, or even which twin is which sometimes — it’s a grab bag! But luckily we also have horrible special effects, potentially interesting plot points that never come to fruition, and even more horrendous comedy from Karsh and Ileana! It’s a dream!

Buckle up kids, because this week’s Give Me That D is a wild one! Lauren Leland is here to break down “Tiger Cruise” and no, it’s not a movie about a riverboat through the jungle like Katelyn thought.

This is not just a movie about Navy brats (but don’t ever call them that), a disintegrating father/daughter relationship, or the families of people in the Navy. It is also, if not most importantly, a movie about…… 9/11. That’s right. 9/11/2001 — they went there. So obviously this is less your run of the mill DCOM, and more of a recruitment video for the US Navy. But don’t worry we still have Hayden Panettiere and Bill Pullman, plus plenty of antics!

There’s some dog shit soft serve, a 50-year-old main character (literally why??), a very disturbing musical moment in a kitchen, a kid almost flying to his death off of an aircraft carrier, and plenty of trauma! This is one to talk about in the group chat.

And lastly, never forget (I’m so sorry).

Calling all GMTD listeners and any clones out there, this week we have Alice Lahoda here to discuss The Other Me!

Following a young yo-yo wielding slacker named Will (a Lawrence Brother, but not the one you want), this movie is a cautionary tale of what happens when you accidentally clone yourself. Thinking he can get out of doing homework and chores, Will has Twoie (the clone, obviously) fill in for him at school and beyond — and guess what? Everyone LOVES him! Like, WAY more than Will. Like, by a mile. And that might be because Twoie gets better grades, does (HEINOUS) choreography in the lunch room, is the only person on earth who’s talked to the grandpa like he’s a human being, and of COURSE wins over the bully through trauma bonding (even though Twoie’s trauma isn’t real!!!!). Gorgeous.

And of course we also have a couple of queer-coded villains, a granola mom who can’t cook, a spy van fronting as an ice cream truck, and pacing that will make you think, “Did time just stop?”

There’s something about a movie staring sisters that reallyyyyyy hits the spot. Is this movie a spiritual successor to a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie? Feels like it!! Following two privileged daughters of a dairy factory owner, these girls need to learn the importance of hard work and responsibility while working over the summer for dear ol’ dad (he’s away on a butterfly collecting expedition of course). This movie has it all: an embezzlement plot, two unsupervised teens on a product line, a $100,000 cotillion in jeopardy, and TWO MAJOR hunks! Will Aly and AJ’s math and computer skills come into play and help save their family’s dairy? Will AJ get her “spotlight dance??” Will the grown men at the factory stop being the meanest people alive to a couple of teen girls??? Will there be hoedowns at lunch break???? Will we see a cow birth?????? You’ll just have to listen to know!!!

Hello GMTD hotties! Jake and Katelyn are flying solo — we’re SORRY! We’ll have guests back, we swear! But luckily this week, no guest was necessary for Princess Protection Program. A movie that truly left us with more questions than the ones we came in with, and we came in with a lot!

It’s so great to see our girls Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato together on screen (RIP their friendship). Now, does Demi’s character Rosie speak with no contractions? Yes. Is it confusing to have a program dedicated to hiding princesses and only princesses? Yeah. And does it seem ridiculous for a government (???) agent to then hide said princess at his home, using layered hair as her only disguise??? Yuppppp. We also have a 16-year-old in charge of a person in hiding, homecoming being huge for girls ONLY, and the maddening inability to work a fro-yo machine. It all makes this movie really something lol.

We have SUCH a fun episode for you this week with our horse-girl sister, Claire Woolcott! We’re breaking down (literally in tears at one point) the CLASSIC “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”

What DOESN’T this movie have? Miley Cyrus, a true STAR gives us COMEDY, gives us DRAMA, gives us VOICE, and she was only 15! Now, does this movie choose violence? Yes. Does Miley/Hannah get into a brawl with Tyra Banks in a shoe store and try to impale her with a pair of heels? Yes. Does Billy Ray engage in what can only be described as plate bafoonery? Yes. Would Jackson actually be dead from an alligator bite to the tush? Yes. Does the evil tabloid journalist from the UK (we stand with you Harry and Meghan) who’s trying to out Hannah’s secret actually have to do some of the most humiliating things I’ve ever seen on screen? Yes. But also we have one of the cutest cuties who ever did ride a horse in Travis. We have wigs being put on and taken off willy-nilly and then STUFFED into a makeup case. We have Miss Taylor Allison Swift and Rascal Flatts making appearances. This movie is of course about remembering who you really are and getting back to your Tennessee roots, but it’s also about punishing a young girl who’s found unmeasured success (even with straight boys, a true feat) for being good at her job — classic. We have fun with a chicken coop, a lottt of slapstick comedy, a revolving door scene that’s so stressful some of us can’t watch it, we “add a little hip-hop” to a hoedown throwdown, and OF COURSE we have an ICONIC soundtrack. When I tell you we wept talking about Butterfly Fly Away. And of course The Climb deserved an Oscar for Best Original Song in my opinion. We could’ve talked about this movie for a hundred years. Needless to say, these horse girls had a good time!

Full disclosure, we fully stand with SAG, this episode was recorded before the strike. We will update all of you as we navigate how to move forward with the podcast in the coming months. Maybe I should become an actor;” plots on plots that stack on plots with none that truly make sense; a punk rock moon goddess; an activist trying to save the moon; a bad guy claiming “squatters rights” on said moon; an extreme teen supreme competition; a foster child; and some very important green screen work.

This one was work to watch but a joy to talk about! We will see you in July!

This is PEAK Frankie Muniz era and peak “based on a true story” era! Frankie plays real life Soapbox Derby driver Justin Yoder. Justin changed the sport forever when, because of his disabilities, invents the hand break in derby cars. But don’t be fooled! This is barelyyyyyy about Soapbox derby racing, (arguably the most boring sport on the planet) this is all about family.

It has two of the horniest parents you’ve ever laid your eyes on, a brother who can really act, fantasy sequences with a VERY hot God with VERY long sideburns and the snoppiest little snoop who ever snooped!

When a teacher goes missing after Lexy (Lindsay Lohan) exposes “the scandal of the century” (i.e. two teachers dating??) Lexy and her friends have to spend a grueling 24 hours trying to find him. But nothing’s impossible with the right crew, the right spy equipment, and clues waiting for you around every corner!!

This movie is what dreams were made of in the 2000s— take us back!!

Cheetah Girls, Cheetah Sisters!

We’re back and so are our favorite girls (women? They look weathered). And we have GMTD veteran, and author Sarah James here to break down The Cheetah Girls 2!

A film with roughly 220 plot lines, this movie finds our fabulous foursome jetting off to Spain (after a flip phone audition) to perform in some sort of music competition, that quite honestly, we still don’t understand.

The big debate here: is this a musical or just a movie with impossibly long musical breaks? We have Galleria (Raven-Symoné) trying to wrangle the girls for one, JUST ONE, rehearsal. We have Chanel (Adrienne Bailon) making friends with their competition, Spain’s Princessa, Marisol. Dorinda (Sabrina Bryan) falling for a destitute Duke who loves to dance. And Aqua (Kiely Williams) liking fashion and still…. being from Texas???

Can the girls stop Chanel’s mom from getting engaged to a really nice, super supportive, hot French man who owns a villa in Spain AND win the music competition AND stay Cheetah gurls 4 ever?? You’ll have to listen to find out!

This film turns a lot of tropes on their heads, and has an ACUTAL con-artist/criminal Uncle, a sleigh NOT pulled by reindeer, and a Santa NOT “living in the Ho-Ho-Ho.”

It’s veryyyyy clear that whoever wrote this movie was on the naughty list. All I’ll say is… there’s some allusion to inappropriate behavior with Rudolph, and a tickle fight initiated by Santa that is VERY DISTURBING!

Needless to say this is the only Cinderella that matters! This is one our favorites so please sing-a-long and enjoyyyyy!!

This film, based on a true story, asks a lot of important questions like; is this ex-college basketball star the ghost of Judah Maccabee? Is this dreidel rap the best thing you’ve ever heard? Can you imagine Jake playing basketball? Can any team get into a tournament even if they haven’t won a game in 2 years? Does it take an entire year to learn the story of Hanukkah?

It also flips the script with a bad mom and supportive dad- he even cooks! Can this Hebrew school basketball team find their angel? Will these dogs win the big tournament? Listen to find out! Have fun!!!

Jake and Katelyn are SOLO this week and thank GOD. Because this week we’re talking about H.E. Double Hockey Sticks which Katelyn feels is an experience akin to getting trampled by horses. There’s so much non-consensual sight and sound!! But, what a cast!

We have a demon/devil (who can say?) played by Will Friedle having a full manic episode, Matthew Lawrence as the hot-shot hockey player who inexplicably is never nude in a locker room?? (SUING!!) Gabrielle Union plays an undercover Angel named…. Gabby… okayyyyy. And the LEGEND Rhea Perlman playing the devil herself or a maybe just a headmistress… again, hard to say. This movie starts at a 10 and remains there until the credits roll. Based on an opera (maybe a Disney first??) this movie has it all: soul stealing, a team of whacky hockey players, too much improv, Marie Antoinette’s head in a bowling bag, a figure skating girlfriend and a devil-in-training little brother. What a wild ride! Have fun!!!!

When a fire wielding ghost steals the soul of a grandfather, we are thrust into a town mystery and a ghost-way station where souls come to transition. Whoa. We also have a classic DCOM bad dad, our personal ghost stories, how damaging stories with an inventor could be for young children and the power of natural gas. Have fun!!!

Exactly 17 years ago TODAY, Tia and Tamera Mowry graced our screens with the age old story of twins separated at birth who are prophesied to save all dimensions from “the Darkness.”Tamera/Camryn/Cam/Apolla takes more after sun and draws extremely demented pictures. Tia/Alexandra/Alex/Artemis has more moon energy and writes extremely demented stories. So you can just IMAGINE the fun we get into when, on their 21st birthday, they meet and realize not only are they long lost twins — they’re witches! TWITCHES! Do you get it??

We also have some big Improv swings courtesy of their two guardians, a mom that is unfazed by anything she sees or hears, a spell to turn the frowns of jack-o-lanterns upside down (important), and a budget of TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS?? HOW??? There is also a pretty SHOCKING realization that rocks the foundation of our our family unit. So please put on your amulets and have fun!!

We. Are. Back!! Come on, you didn’t think we’d miss spooky season did you?? Like we could abstain from talking about these Halloween classics; including this weeks movie, Halloweentown High! Of courseeee we had to ask the Roommate Lovers themselves, Maggie Smith and Kyle Mantegna back to break it down with us.

Now, for a movie with the tittle Halloweentown High it might surprise you that we don’t step foot in Halloweentown. Marnie (Kimberly J. Brown, greatest mouth actor of our generation) brings Halloweentown (people? Creatures? Beings?) teens to the mortal world as a sort of study abroad/peace treaty with the human world, except no on in the mortal world knows they’re there or doing that??? You might also come to expect certain moral themes from a Disney movie; Love, friendship, acceptance, and surprisingly the theme of this film seems to be the opposite, unless you’re taking your unconscious crush on a broom ride there doesn’t seem to be much mixing and mingling between the worlds. That’s okay! We still get kooky Grandma Aggie (Debbie Reynolds) as a teacher, an inexplicable Knight subplot and an alligator purse that goes on a tear. What a trick-o-treat! Have fun with this one, we certainly did (amends were made.)

It’s just family this week because it’s GMTD’s ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY!! Can you believe? And we are celebrating in style by chatting about one of our favorite women in the galaxy: Zenon! That’s right! We’re breaking down “Zenon: The Zequel.” From another Proto Zoa banger, to enemies becoming friends (looking at you, Margie), to a trek through the jungle, and even the involvement of the US military, this movie is doing it all! Zenon continues to leave wreckage in her wake but damnit if she doesn’t always pull through! Aunt Judy is an alien conspiracy theorist and continues to be one of the best characters in any DCOM, while sadly Raven has been recast. RIP. All we know for sure is aliens are contacting Z with a lot of “zums” and that’s DEFINITELY a word. Yeah, definitely. So buckle up for blast off, because we’re taking you to space! Have fun!!!

Oh my God, this week we have a whacky one for ya — Pixel Perfect! We have the wonderful Ryan Barton here to play devil’s advocate and try his best to put a positive spin on this real journey of a movie —or movie(s). There’s many layers.

This movie is about a boy who creates a hologram popstar because he doesn’t believe his “best friend” is good enough to be her bands lead singer. COOL. It’s also a science movie, but also a band movie?? But it could also be about the inner workings of the internet, sleezy record producers, and Japan? Or maybe about the moral question of whether holograms deserve rights? But it might actually be about body possession and also a villain origin story! It’s all over the map here, people!!! Get ready for some “dance moves” you’ve never seen before! And if you’re single, you might have to confront yourself to see if maybe it’s because you’re obsessed with perfection…. Pretty deep huh?? Have Fun!!!!

Jeepers! This is one of our personal faves! Now, did we have to watch a bootleg version of this film on YouTube (shoutout to @TVMovies for doing the lord’s work!)? Yes. But it was WORTH IT to get our eyes back on Susie Q! And we’re popping our dear friend Ashley England’s DCOM cherry —what a thrill! She brings alllll the insight you could hope for. This movie has everything: a devastating car accident on a bridge in the 1950’s, a GHOST coming back to help her parents, a basketball star who finds a charm bracelet, Shelley Long as a whacky weather reporter, and THE PINK POWER RANGER! Now, did we have many, MANY questions about this film? YES! Was it hard to fully get a handle on? Again, YES! But did we enjoy every second? 100% YES!! I hope you all enjoy this horny little movie and that we are able to shed light on really important things like: “what’s the truth about heaven?” or “If a ghost can handle, open, hug and catch things, then why can’t she SOLVE THE CENTRAL PROBLEM BY PICKING UP SOME PAPERS??!!” This is one for the books! Get into your Thunderbird ( but don’t stop in the middle of a bridge!) and get ready for this film!

Well, well, well, this week on GMTD we have a special episode with not 1, not 2 but 3 Mowry’s- Tia, Tamera AND Tahj. We’re talking Seventeen Again with our very own mean girl Ross Knight! Sure Tia and Tamera (famous twins) don’t play twins NOR siblings, and yes Tahj is barely in the movie because he’s “animal testing” the reverse aging soap that has “15 types of lethal chemicals” in it, but still a TREAT! This movie has a set of divorced Grandparents (don’t go to Australia, that’s all I’ll say) that age back into seventeen year olds. Have you ever had your Grandma steal your boyfriend? I didn’t think so. We have a white problematic rapper, a psychic best friend, and most importantly one of the hottest men we’ve ever seen gracing our screens. Please enjoy the Mowry dynasty! This week on GMTD we have a film (?) that is truly bananas! We’re breaking down The Jennie Project and luckily we have cat daddy himself Steven Tobiasz here to help us make sense of this one. We have a disturbed family that takes in a Chimpanzee as one of their children, we have a chimp in a diaper, in a gingham dress and most surprising of all taking the stand in a court of law! And no, this is not a comedy, this is a “family drama”! On top of that we have an overly familiar mailman who sues the chimp, a dad who has abandoned his family, and a world renowned chimpanzee sign language scientist- that’s the correct title. So buckle up because this one is NOT about Jane Goodall, contrary to popular belief. Have fun!

This week on GMTD things get…. Sincere?? We’re breaking down (and sobbing over) Rip Girls with true gem of a human, Alison Banowsky! Some would say Rip Girls walked so Blue Crush could run- there’s a theme!! Not only do we have the beauty of Hawaii as a backdrop, a nuanced step-mom, an incredible plot with a dead mom and the deed to a plantation going to a 13 year old… We also have a whale festival (dream) a kiss in the middle of the film (maybe first ever??) and a bad-ass surfer chick clique we’re dying to be a part of. The film is so decidedly female and it REALLY IS GOOD (we can’t stress that enough)! Enjoy!!!

GMTD is finally back and we have the hilarious (figure skater?!) comedian Tommy Do here to to talk about Stuck in the Suburbs! Wow what a film. Not a lot of movie titles refer to a state of mind rather than a major plot, but this one sure does! We have suburban moms on the brink, maybe the first older sister to ever be featured on a Dcom, an old “historic house” that needs to be saved and of course a pop star and an aspiring young “song writer” accidentally switching phones. What will 2 young girls do when they get their hands on a palm pilot?! Watch for Taran Killam with the worst hair cut of all time, but stay for the montagues about montagues. And honestlyyy some of these song lyrics will bring a tear to your eye. Enjoy!!

This week on GMTD we’re talking the Wonderful World of Disney x Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen vehicle, Switching Goals! We didn’t know how much we missed them and needed them back in our lives! Of course we had to call an all things Olsen expert and fan club devotee, Jamie Jirak, to really teach us a thing or two. Did you know MK and Ashley aren’t actually identical twins?? Remember how we all wanted their iconic haircut? In Jake’s case, still does? We also talk another psychotic father obsessed with winning….. youth soccer championships??? Also all the men in the town being absolutely devastated by the teams all going co-ed- progressive. A mom so petty she deserts her psychiatric patients to coach her husbands rival team (Shero) and a switcharoo movie that has very little switch….. It feels good to be back with our girls! Enjoy!!

This week on GMTD, “some of them are goblins, some of them are ghouls and some of them are a little weird” it’s Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge! We have the roommate lovers themselves Maggie Smith and Kyle Mantegna here to keep us laughing the entirety of this episode. Never have we been more grateful for a recap on a past movie because HUH?!! We have TWO stolen spell books, (which apparently only belong to one witch family?? Where are the other witches??) a Gollum- which of course is a man made out of frogs, 2 Halloween parties that are a town MUST, a countdown to midnight of Halloween (a classic tradition) a grey town, a love interest that can’t even bring hot to the table and the majority of the film in a hoarders house. This movie has it all and also nothing! Enjoy!

This week on GMTD we’re talking about the movie that made us all gay: Motocrossed! And thank god we have Allison Reese here to talk about this truly hallowed film. Remember when we all wore Fox gear from head to toe and watched the X-Games? What an era! This movie single-handedly brought Motocross into the zeitgeist…. maybe! We talk all things privileged/horrible dads, sweet sibling relationships, one of the hunkiest guys of all time, iconic green nails (to help with arm pump, OBVIOUSLY!), and of course a twin switch-a-roo with a sister posing as her brother! Billy Shakes might have given us the source material with Twelfth Night, but I’d say not even HE could know the heights it would reach! May we also give praise to every gender-swapping movie that HAS to have a lake moment (they can’t take off their shirts! What will they do??!!) Enjoy this one, we sure did!

TOP O’ THE MORNIN’ AND HAPPY SEASON 3 PREMIERE! This week on GMTD we are joined by Irish fangirl herself, Rebecca Munley to discuss Luck of the Irish! What a film! It’s part horror, part noir, part slapstick comedy and full USA propaganda! We have mom’s turning into leprechauns, a stolen lucky coin, cornbread and cabbage as a weapon and…… basketball?? But at the end of the day this movie is definitive PROOF that 9/11 was an inside job. And remember, “American’s come from all over, not just one place and so do I [we]”.

Calling all Cheetah Girls and Cheetah Sisters! This week on GMTD we have 2 of the most most badass women in the game, Tayyyslayyy and Trashley of Glitter Moneyyy, and they’re here to breakdown CHEETAH GIRLS!!! This film! This fashion! These STARS!! Not only do we have THE Raven-Symoné, we have Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams of 3LW and Sabrina Bryan! The fashion is straight from a “10 for 10” at Claire’s, the music is bop after bop, and we also have wildly upsetting animal masks, honest to god good moms, and Raven becoming a full monster with the promise of fame. But at the end of the day….. the whole plot hinges on Todo…. The dog. It’s an absolute feast for the eyes and it’s one of the best DCOM’s we have! Please enjoy this one, and then go listen to every song off the Cheetah Girls soundtrack, and then go listen to every song Glitter Moneyyy has ever done. It’ll be Cheetah-licious!

This week on GMTD we are resurrecting one of the greatest films of all time, Life-Size! Lindsay Lohan and Tyra Banks in the same movie?! It’s too much! We have two other superstars here who shine *bright* and *far*, Eric Myrick and KoKo Bell from Get Wrecked: The Game Show Podcast, giving their very hot takes! This movie has Tyra Banks playing a brought-to-life Barbie doll and Lindsay Lohan as a football player into the Occult. But this film isn’t just about how a little blush will literally change your life, or the danger of a resurrection spell that ACTUALLY WORKS—its about the full human experience; loss, grief and being buried alive. And side note: we totally think Lindsay and Tyra had on set beef. THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING! Enjoy this one!! And remember: “shine bright, shine far, don’t be shy be a star. A move called the “Ali” where you hold a basketball in front of you and shift your weight from foot to foot?? SABOTAGE??? No they did not!

In this ep Katelyn reveals herself for the real horse girl she is; Cowboy Take me Away on repeat? She calls horses in a group having their “annual horse meeting?” She’s upset by animal’s talking but likes when they’re acting? WHAT’S THE TRUTH? We also have to ask, is horse meat legal? Can we please get Justice for moody? Are all horses obsessed with horse butts? And side note, it’s never okay to put your 13 year old sister’s panties on your head- remember that. Have fun!!!!

Now this is “technically” the sequel to Horse Sense but babes this is no longer a humble story about a ranch in Montana, we’ve taken to the seas! This movie couldn’t have more happening, it’s a rarely seen DDD (Double Dead Dad) story, it’s 2 of the HOTTEST MEN ON EARTH (sorry Andy), it’s ocean crocodiles and our old Improv teacher the Emu, Carl, being a featured extra- all really exciting stuff! Did you ever want to see your parents as infants? No? Us either but here we are! This week on GMTD we’re talking about the Poof Point with the one and only Ross Knight! This movie is reallyyyyy something, never thought I’d ever hear a daughter ask her grown father if he “needs to use the potty” and that’s not something you can un-see. We also talk about Ross’ hatred of children, our sadness that Tahj Mowry had to deal with scripts like this, a couple of kids who really don’t grasp the reality their parents are about to die but have time for a band tryout (???) On this week of GMTD we are befuddled, shocked, and frankly upset at what has to be, hands down, the kookiest movie we’ve ever laid our eyes on; You Lucky Dog. Thank God we have Rasheeda Moore here to help us make sense of this movie. If you thought Kirk Cameron couldn’t be more appalling you haven’t seen him BECOME a dog. That’s right, he’s not only a dog psychic but somehow can channel a dog named Lucky- it’s as horrifying as it sounds! This movie has a doggy murder plot, gum balls that make their own gravy, a grown man playing with toys in a tub, Uncle Phil and more leather shoes then one can count. This is a ride!
