A Wabi Sabi Life

Every Friday in my blog, A Wabi Sabi Life, I like to feature a poem from a favourite or lesser known poet, together with one of my photos. Today I read Mary Oliver's "I Worry." Timely still, given the impacts felt by the pandemic, and what it now means to "re-open" and "re-enter" society after a year and a half of social isolation.

Spring has officially arrived! We've enjoyed a run of sunshine and warm weather, melting much of the snow and bringing forth pussy willows. But here in Canadian the prairies, we snow will come again. This episode features a poem I wrote last year, reminding me of the spring's early ways.
