I read an article that stated millions of people take pharmaceuticals every day to cope with daily life. Insecurity, anxiety and depression are common and much of it is due to self-judgement, beating ourselves up if we perceive we are not winning the game of life.

Far too often we find ourselves engaging in roadrunner living, and without thinking we put self-care on the back burner. The price of pursuing this lifestyle too long comes at a price of exhaustion or worse an adverse impact to our health and well-being.

The benefits of self-care are more lasting, it improves confidence and self-esteem. It allows you to set healthy boundaries making yourself the priority.
