While enjoying a deliciously refreshing cocktail called Dr. Funk, Andrew shares Martha Beckwith's wonderful book on Hawaiian mythology and cosmology. And yes, there IS a Creature Corner this week! Katie then tells the chilling legend of the Night Marchers, including some firsthand accounts by witnesses!

This week your favorite duo is in Sweden! While enjoying a radioactive blue-colored cocktail called the Swedish Polar Bear, Andrew discusses the Nine Realms of Norse Mythology. He also has a Creature Corner this week! Katie touches on a group of Swedish mercenaries that tortured German peasants with something called Schwedentrunk, and then shares some super messed up Swedish folklore!

This week, your favorite duo is in Chile! While sipping on pineapple mint punch, the two friends get to record an episode live and in person! Andrew tells the tale of the formation of Chile and the battle between two serpents, Cai Cai Vilu and Tren Tren Vilu. Katie then talks about the brujos of Chiloe, and a rapist troll.

This week Murder Mythtery is visiting Kenya! The episode was paired with the Kenyan cocktail Dawa, which means "medicine" in Swahili. Andrew talks about the mythology of the Bantu people, including a tale of a Chameleon and how humans got their mortality. Katie then discusses some Masaai folktales and even dives into the mystery of the Ruins of Gedi and the Jinn that protect them!

WE ARE BACK FOR SEASON TWO! In this premiere Andrew and Katie are in Indonesia! They kick off the episode with a spicy little cocktail called the Sweet and Spicy Rambutan. Andrew talks about the Daya people of Indonesia and dives deep into their creation stories, and has a very interesting cryptid that takes on all and no forms in Creature Corner. Katie then talks about Wewe Gombel, a kidnapping spirit with a unique physique. You won't want to miss this!

Greetings and welcome! This weirdly short episode of Murder Mythtery is spent in Egypt! This is the first of many episodes planned to dive deeper into the mythology and folklore of ancient Egypt! Instead of a cocktail, this episode has been paired with the delicious non-alcoholic tea drink, Koshary. Andrew briefly covers the main gods in Egyptian mythology and a quick overview of the Sphinx. Katie then tells the tale of Khonsemhab and the restless ghost of a man named Nebusemekh.

Brr! Andrew and Katie are freezing their butts off in Greenland this week. Warming up with the toasty and boozy Greenlandic Coffee, Andrew and Katie dive deep into Inuit culture. Andrew tells the tale of Sedna, the goddess of the sea, and introduces Greenlandic cryptids in a new segment called Creature Corner. Katie shares some titillating Inuit folklore, and the two hosts even think they have found the origin story of Old Greg!

It's the first episode post-election, and we're elated! This week the duo visits Samoa. Andrew tells the story of the Earthbound Giants, and how Taro and Yams were brought to the world. Katie talks about the legend of the warrior goddess Nafanua. The two enjoy the Tipsy Bartender's Angry Samoan cocktail while they chat!

Andrew and Katie are gearing up for the election, but in the mean time they're here to talk about Ghana! A beautiful country with a rich culture, Andrew talks about the cosmology of Ghana's Akan religion, and Katie discusses the Mystic Stone of Larabanga and the yearly Fire Festival, Bugum Chugu. This episode is paired with the cocktail titled "Yas, Ghana!"

This week, your hosts were unable to line up time to record together, but that is ok! We decided to explore some lesser-known fall traditions in celebration of Halloween! Andrew talks about the Hungry Ghost Festival of China and their unique traditions. Katie then dives into the Italian/Sicilian celebrations of Ognissanti and U Juornu rii Muorti. Andrew discusses the legends behind the creation of the islands of Japan, and even gives us a taste of some of the cryptids that live there! Katie talks about the mysterious disappearance of Yuki Onishi, and the two speculate about the legitimacy of the Yonaguni Pyramid.

Andrew talks about how Juno delayed the creation of Rome, and the story of how Romulus and Remus battled it out to be the town's namesake. (I think we know who won.) Katie talks about how Sicily is not only considered the Island of Persephone, but the Pergusa Lake is believed to be the entrance to the Underworld itself!

OPA! Today Murder Mythtery heads to Greece! Andrew of course has been waiting for this day for a long time, and is pleased to give us a tour of the Pantheon and its gods and goddesses. Katie then crosses into Andrew's territory and covers...mythology?! That's right, Katie finally brings a little more murder into Murder Mythtery by talking about murders that happened in Greek mythology. The hosts enjoy an extremely refreshing Ouzo Lemonade with this episode, come join us!

Your hosts are in India this week, and Andrew very excitedly talks about the Cosmology of India including the extremely long work week of Brahma, and then he gives us a brief history of the yogi Shiva. Then, Katie speaks about some of the mysteries India has to offer, including a town with an unusually high birth rate of twins, birds that instead of yearly migration they die by mass suicide, and the alien activity in Kongka La Pass. Though our featured drink this week is the Dirty Mango Lassi, both hosts are adamant that the classic Mango Lassi is simply the best.

This week you're in for a special treat. Katie is suffering from tonsillitis in real time, so your hosts decided to drop a very special "lost episode" from before our reformat! We are joined by special guest Iván González who teaches us more about the Taíno culture and mythology! Then, Katie shares the story of a famous Puerto Rican actress who took method acting to a whole new level. This week's signature cocktail is the Puerto Rican holiday drink, Coquito!

Straying from the norm of picking a country at random, Andrew and Katie use this episode of Murder Mythtery as an opportunity to share with listeners about the fun stories their birthplaces hold. While drinking this week's themed cocktail, the Home Sweet Home Shake, Andrew tells Katie about the underground tunnels underneath the Wasilla/Palmer area of Alaska. Then, Katie talks about some old haunted locations in Western New York. The two spend the second half of the episode discussing personal paranormal experiences and who their favorite characters are in different mythologies.
