You're only as Wealthy as you are Healthy! | S2 E14
In light of the 2020 Riots stemming from the brutal killing George Floyd(Yet another unarmed Black man killed by the police) Saani gives his true takes on race in our country. He encourages Black people to talk openly with people of other cultures about said events(11:40). Dear White People am I equal(16:45). He also acknowledges the FIGHT that is taking place and encourages those to fight however they see fit.(21:46). In the new fast paced world we exist in our priorities as well as most other things feel rushed and out of sorts. This is a direct result of what we are taught as well as what we are taught to revere. Paper is too respected in our culture(31:27). But Where does your health rank on your priority list? On a daily basis we nevermind our heath in favor of what we are "suppose to be " doing or what we want to do, in the long run this has a extreme negative effect on us and takes away the journey of life.
Reality Check | S2 E13
"Reality is what's Real, not what it's supposed to be"
From American's salary to their dating there are certain standards of the way things are "Supposed to be", so much so that lying or neglecting ones actual self has become a lifestyle for many. "Your Wife cheated, you gotta leave her" .......right?(26:20). Saani puts this in example form when he investigates the 'Good Morning Queen' era (33:34). Sanni suggest that posting lies online is the easiest way to Lose who you are in Reality(43:46), even suggesting that couples spend more time trying to act happy then actually making the relationship a happy one(44:45).

S2 | E 10 | Father where are Thou?
Could there be any connection between the lack of Black fathers in the house hold and our lack of heritage? Saani theorizes the posed question, but not before he reminds of what "Walking to the Store" was like(9:28). The basis of his theory centered on the youthfulness of the race itself, the African American Race being just over 400 years old(16:45). Going on to explain how history is best transmitted through story(31:34), but if you don't have anyone there to tell you the stories then you start to create your own based on surface things(39:05). He ends by supporting the thing that was once heavily relied upon in our communities which was enter acting and complying as a village instead of just a neighbor(41:40), OG's play a big role in this(44:20)
S2 | E 11 | i Cheated, take me Back!
This week's episode features a list full of questions from Saani. He offers his advice to couples attempting to learn each other more(6:08). THE RAGE, Saani expresses his heightened dislike for fund raisers and the Girl scouts.(7:55) In the Growing up Black segment he challenges the listeners to think about what the craziest thing in their "Junk Drawer"(10:39). If you were cheated on could you forgive the person and move past it, have you?(14:54). Saani refers cheating to receiving a double technical foul and declares the action may be too high on the hierarchy of things not to do.
What is a Goal? | S2 E 10
What is a goal? Do you have one? Did you have one? Sometimes in life we let life itself get in the way of the things that matter most to you. Today Saani urges his listeners to remember and pursue their goals!
S2 | Episode 9 | The Mountain Vs The Mole
In our culture often times we tend to nevermind others problems if it doesn't quite effect us as much. What one problem is to one group may not be a problem to another. Respect the the underlying principle when addressing problems and how people on each end of the spectrum should address and receive them.
S2 Episode 8 | That's Just My Fraaaaaaaaan(Having friends of the opposite sex)
Platonic friends is a term that is often misused as well as misunderstood. The societal pressures that have been created by our dishonesty, greed and lack of character ultimately have led us to distrust. Because of this when in a relationship, significant others often have the tendency to take issue with the friend seeing them as a threat. Having friends of the opposite isn't a bad thing, in fact I believe it is a vital part of being a well rounded member of our society. Trust is the overbearing guideline to any friendship and platonic relationships defer none.
S2 Episode 7 | Relationship Issues-Changing VS Adapting
Relationships consist of two equal parts merging to improve on their original form. Humans are all made different so this can often be a challenge. Relationships take patience, dedication, understanding and sacrifice. That being said there will be some things you do, say or ways in which you think that may need to be tailored to fit your relationship and your partners needs. The slippery slope is when you can no longer constitute the adjustments as tailoring and they start to look more like a mutation as where you can't even identify whom you were previous to the relationship.
S2 Episode VI | The Great Depression
Our social status has become the Pinnacle of our goals. Instead of wanting to be something for ourselves we have altered our priority list to be what others want us to be. That being said something that keeps us from that realm in which we seek is considered weak or a sign of inadequacy. Certain symptoms of Depression happen in life, its natural. Whats unnatural is suppressing them to hide your vulnerabilities to remain.."Cool'. The Coolest thing you can be on this earth is yourself.
Keep it a Bu¢k Podcast | S2 Episode V | Be your Own Tattle Tell
Knowledge of the world has only grown more vast with the ages. Subsequently we have never been further away from ourselves. Searching within is a practice rarely taught and applied even more scarcely. That why it is no wonder we try to keep things from others, mainly ourselves which also leads us to falsely believe we can hide things from God. We’ve configured a way to keep the rest of the world out and only allow our brain to register the things about ourselves that we want presented, a false reality. Well guess what, God doesn’t live in your reality, your head nor does he play by your rules. It’s time to give back whats owed to him, fortunately for us all that is is just fully trusting in him and having a direct line of communication to ask for forgiveness along with the other things we want. I urge you to keep it a Bu¢k with God and he will do the same with you.

Keep it a Bu¢k Podcast | S2 Episode 4 | Imagine That
Society has reduced the imagination to be a stage of adolescents. I argue that it’s not a juvenile feature at all. Sure we all discover we have imaginations as kids, but some where along the way we are taught or suggested to leave them with the things of our childhood. Your imagination is limitless, it’s also one of the only things that can’t be restricted. Personally I believe that each and everyone of us has a unique perspective and gifts provided by God, that being said its important to note I don’t think it could be accessed without using your imagination.
Keep it a Bu¢k Podcast | S2 Episode 3 | Commitment
Do you have what it takes? What a cliche line right……or is it. The things that we feel we’re obligated to do sometimes get in the way of what we want to and should be committed to. That being said I’d be remise if I didn’t mention just because they get in the way doesn’t mean they stop us. The choice not to do something is just that, a choice. When your commitment to something is so strong it enslaves you than and only than can you say you tried. If you examine the best it is evident that they all made major sacrifices in the pursuit of their craft, that sacrifice is….commitment.

Keep it a Bu¢k Podcast | Episode 15 | What About your Friends?
Your friends are one of, if not the biggest influence in your formative years. In Fact I believe that your friends help you become who you are with far greater frequency than your parents, your school, your pastor or your cousins. Friends should help you grow, that's what they are for and that's why it is imperative that we have them. Saani's jokes earn him an uninvited.......well technically invited guest in the middle of the night.
Keep it a Bu¢k Podcast | Episode 14 | The Buoyancy of Life
Unfortunately or Fortunately, depending on how you look at it, we are not able to pick the hand of the cards that are dealt to us. We know in life that there will be ups there will be downs, the key component is how we react to these. Things that are buoyant refuse to stay beneath where their physical make up tells them they should be. In life we should also refuse to be in places where our make up doesn’t place us. What ever life throws as us, we should remember that we are equipped for what ever lies ahead. Saani again challenges to publicly exclaim the graces of someone else.
Keep it a Bu¢k Podcast | Episode 13 | Can Cheating be an Addiction?
Cheating is so common it’s UNCOMMON if it’s never happened to you. With an act so disrespectful being so popular, could there be something more to it? Is it more than just a series of bad decisions? Is it a disease in fact. If not, are you of the belief that Loyalty means Loyalty, Friendship means Friendship, and Honor is to be upheld? So someone who is a serial cheater would fall under the dis loyal category……no? Plus Saani encourages listeners to ask themselves whey they are a “Good person” and for them to claim it.

Keep it a Bu¢k Podcast | Episode 11 | Relationships NEED Confrontation
Is your relationship perfect?…..Of course not, and neither is anyone else’s. For that reason it is key that we voice or opinions’s concerns, vulnerabilities and fears in our most intimate of relationships. To only know the good side of a person is to not know them at all. Our uniqueness is what makes us so special, and to suppress something that important is abandonment of self.
