A few days ago I asked Facebook to Recommend me local cosplayers that you want me to follow. This in turn led me to do a podcast based on this thread. Just a few days after Johnny Kitagawa's passing, Neojaponisme posted a series of tweets detailing why the Johnny's Entertainment empire was "detrimental to the quality of Japanese music industry over the last four decades." Last but not the least, we discussed the detention of an alleged former MangaMura website admin, how the culture of piracy led us to content addiction and how hard life will be if we are deprived of content.

For the first ever episode in a series of tentatively-titled VOTEMNL48 podcasts in line with MNL48's Second General Election, we talked to Ahdrian representing MNL48 Faith, and the Friends Fries fan club of Shaira and Shaina, perhaps the only twin idols in the AKB48 Group. Next episode will be lively and full of joy in the clouds.

I learned the term "fishing" in the local idol context through my peers, and this is perhaps the focal point of my discussion with Stan Galupo of Back2Gaming's MNL48 Weekly. On this episode we talked about our thoughts before the MNL48 Living the Dream Concert, as well as mentioned the events which will be happening on the same day as the concert.

[Erratum] Jaydee has 3,000+ followers, Stan has told me, not 4,000. This episode is so long it's spicy. Y'know, I was supposed to cut this into two parts but I decided against doing so as we won't get the message across. It has to be in one package. Stan Galupo joins me in discussing the possibilities of what radical MNL48 fanatics can do to destroy the franchise itself, and what happens after. My message is clear: You've already been desensitized in rallying against the management that you forgot these possibilities. You're also alienating the casuals to leave the fandom. Let's not be like this, shall we?

I got Stan Galupo of Back2Gaming's MNL48 Weekly on the podcast, and before we delve on the meat of the matter which is MNL48 itself, we recalled the good times in the Cosplay community. Also, Stan gives us a peek on how he writes about the Filipina idol group. This is like the calm before the storm. Next episode's going to be spicy.

With the 2nd General Election coming up this April, we're already at the point where tensions are high. On this episode, I talked to Ellie Nogami and Reginan Abang as well as discussed the said election straight from the horse's mouth as told by Anime Pilipinas on their bombshell story that made the fandom go nuts. As part of my 10th year in the anime/cosplay circle, I'm bringing back an old recording from 2011. Meidolls Cafe was then the first maid/cosplay cafe outside of anime/cosplay events, and when the recording was done, they were at one corner inside Saunterfield Building in Cainta. After a month, they were able to move to a noticeable space in the same building, until they stopped operations around a year after.
