EP07 - Alex Watts speaks techy life, comedy, and finding your path.

EP07 - Alex Watts speaks techy life, comedy, and finding your path.

I have dubbed this episode 'The Reintroduction of Alex Watts'. A man of varying experience and talents, Alex and I became friends at a pop-punk show back in the mid-noughties. We shared a love for music and pop-culture, and bonded over many online chats on MSN Messenger like a couple of forbidden lovers. In this episode, Alex speaks about his journey from petrol station attendant, to touring the world as a band techy, moving from the mainland to the Isle of Wight, doing stand-up comedy and more. Now a Director at his own marketing agency, Alex continues to strive to entertain, have fun, and live the life that makes him happiest, focusing on what matters to him. Two dudes going deep. I hope you enjoy! (ps, apologies for the minor audio issue. It seems my headphones were a bit loud and picked up a bit of 'echo'). Lesson learnt.

EP05 - Silvia speaks about Italy in Lockdown

Well here it is! Sporadically Speaking has officially returned for 2020! The world is going through a tough time right now, but hopefully this podcast can offer some light entertainment, enjoyable stories, and unique insight to the varied lives of some weird and wonderful people. We're starting this new run of episodes with one of my very own students Silvia! Silvia was studying here in the UK when the coronavirus outbreak hit, and she has a unique perspective to share as she speaks about how it has impacted her studies, and her experience as she travelled home to Italy to be with her family. I hope you enjoy this episode, please be kind and subscribe as there's lot more to come. Stay safe, and stay sensible.

(Pilot) EP02 - Victor Vector & Andy P speak hip-hop

Episode 2 from the pilot series of Sporadically Speaking (recorded March 2018). Joining me this time around are Lewis Ahmet aka Victor Vector, and Andy Phillips, better known as Andy P. Lewis and Andy were, and still are part of the hip-hop movement in Dorset, working on projects individually, and together as part of The NapKings and their past group Ways of The Mouth. We talk about their musical and gigging history, our collective love for the genre, and why Andy P felt getting a taxi home for a 70 mile journey after a night out was a good idea. Enjoy!
