44 Years Ago Today
44 Years Ago Today
It was on the 11th of August 1976 that I took the pulpit for the first time as a pastor. I was the pastor of the Pleasant Ridge Congregational Christian Church on Watkins Road in Fort Recovery, Ohio. I was seventeen years old and between my Junior and Senior year of high school in Greenville, Ohio. Late the next August I would leave to study at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. I have been an active pastor ever since.

Hard Times Make Good Telling
Hard Times Make Good Telling
A man once asked me, "What happens when you run out of stories?" You run out of stories when you stop living or stop paying attention. If you are paying attention to a world full of people who are made in the image of God, millions of whom are possessed by the Spirit of God, you will notice that new stories are happening every day. In this current difficulty of a world-wide pandemic, beautiful stories rise to the surface every day, if you are paying attention. Donna was.
