The Gouche and Jordan opened the show looking at the last week of NHL action and news. They wrapped up their thoughts on the big topics of the NHL GM meetings regarding the salary cap, and the potential for a new playoff format.   They also caught up with Sean McMorrow for a quick interview, the record holder for most fights in a professional hockey season. Sean has an incredible story and shared some of the highlights with us.

Jordan Laroche will be solo today as he goes over some options for the Toronto Maple Leafs and gives an update on some of the rumors heading into the trade deadline.

But Gene still gave us great insight into the Oilers and where they stand at this point in the season.  We will also recap last night's game between the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Gouche Live will be joined by Paul Rosen to catch up on the Olympics. The Canadian women's team has been on a roll beating the USA and Russia, they will be back in action Thursday night against Germany.   Meanwhile, in the NHL, Brad Marchand will have an in-person hearing today after some antics in their matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins last night.

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be joined by Jimmy Murphy from Montreal and Boston Hockey Now. We will look at the All-Star Weekend and get our opinions on the whole event.   We will also look at an article written by Rosie DiManno from the Toronto Star as she believes Women's Hockey does not belong in the Olympics.   Finally, we will wrap up with our pre-game show for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Carolina Hurricanes.

Gouche Live is back with another episode. We will be talking about all the events coming up at the NHL All-Star Weekend. We will also be giving our predictions for each of the event winners. Chicago Blackhawks owner, Rocky Wirtz, had an interesting response when asked about the 2010 sexual assault case.

Sean "The Sheriff" McMorrow joins Gouche for a candid conversation about his hockey career as an enforcer, hockey then and now, the atmosphere of the game with inclusion, and his podcast "The Sheriff Podcast".   Sean was drafted in the 8th round, 258th overall in the 2000 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres. He would start the season with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League, racking up 43 fighting majors in 64 games.  Almost three years after being drafted, McMorrow made his NHL debut with the Buffalo Sabres at the Air Canada Centre against his home town Toronto Maple Leafs.

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live returns! Jimmy Murphy from Boston Hockey Now will join us to take a look at the Boston Bruins. More specifically, we will be looking at Tuukka Rask's return, and Brad Marchand being snubbed from the All-Star game while being the NHL's First Star of the Week.   We will also look at the other Stars of the week, and take a look at some new information on Jack Eichel's return.

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be taking a look at the NHL All-Star rosters and picking our surprises and snubs from the four divisional teams. There were some pretty obvious players left off the roster such as Nazem Kadri who leads the Colorado Avalanche in points.   We will also look at the Last Man In vote and making our predictions for the vote.

At 12:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be taking a look around the NHL breaking down its top stories. Bobby Clarke recently went off on Ron Hextall's time as GM of the Philadelphia Flyers.   While the NHL announced it's All-Star coaches, we will make some predictions on what players will make their respective All-Star teams.

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be joined by our European correspondent Hans Gerd Schoofs "Schopy" to give us an update on German hockey following the World Junior Championship. There is also currently a German player still in Edmonton in quarantine following the World Junior Cancellation.  We will also look at the NHL's trade bait list and see which players will have the best fit for our teams.

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will take a look at the NHL's 3 stars for December, which teams at the top of their divisions can hold their spots, and some New Years Resolutions for our teams.

Gouche Live, with host Peter Young presents "Where Were You in 1982" as Team Canada won GOLD at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Rochester, USA.   Peter will talk with head coach Dave King, James Patrick, Carey Wilson and Marc Habscheid about this historic moment in Canadian hockey. It was not only Canada's first ever World Junior hockey championship in 1982, it was before playoffs, before TSN, seemingly before few even cared, oh and before anyone televised the game for the title. Only one video tape of the entire game exists in the whole wide world….and guess who owns it? Peter Young. "I will not only have all the highlights but interviews with the head coach and three of the star players." states Young.  This Sunday, on multiple platforms, 40 years to the day since Canada won that gold medal.

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be taking a look at yesterday's World Junior Championship games and looking at some early favorites and dark horses.   We will also take a look at the new wave of NHL cancellations and some news coming from the league.

At 5:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be joined by Steven Ellis from the Hockey News to take a look at this year's World Junior Championship. The tournament officially starts on Sunday, but we will get you ready for this weekend!

The Gouche and producer, Jordan Laroche, took a look at some of the worst moves from the NHL offseason including Mike Hoffman, Duncan Keith, Seth Jones. 

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be joined by Boston Hockey Now reporter Jimmy Murphy. We will go over how the Boston Bruins have fared this season and if the team needs to make any changes.   Jimmy is also reporting on the COVID cases around the league, so we will get an update from him on where the league stands as COVID continues to handicap the NHL.

Joe Pascucci will talk Winnipeg Blue Bombers, NHL, Paul Maurice and shed some light on the 1982 World Junior Hockey Championships.  Pascucci worked at various radio and TV stations throughout Ontario while completing his broadcast journalism degree at Fanshawe College in London. He attended his first Grey Cup as an accredited journalist in 1977, driving through a snowstorm to attend the “Ice Bowl” in Montreal.  After serving as news director at CKAP in Kapuskasing and sports director at CHOO in Ajax, he joined Winnipeg’s CKND-TV (later rebranded as Global Winnipeg). Starting in 1982 as a Sports Reporter and weekend anchor, he also handled football play-by-play for the University of Manitoba Bisons and freelanced for ESPN and TSN.

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be joined by former host of The Rosen Report, Paul Rosen. We will take a look at the Chicago Blackhawks to see if they will be making any moves over the season. We will also be talking about the release of his new book "Never Give Up."

t 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will go over tonight's matchup between the Edmonton Oilers and the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Oilers have been struggling over the last stretch losing five in a row,  while the Leafs have had issues of their own.

Gouche Live will be joined by several guests to go over some of the chaos from the weekend. Matt Sekeres from Sekeres and Price, will help us dig deeper into the Vancouver Canucks firing of GM Jim Benning and HC Travis Green.    We will also be joined by Philadelphia Flyers reporter Wayne Fish as the club fired HC Alain Vigneault earlier today.

This was recorded as our pre game show for the Toronto Maple Leafs against the New York Rangers Thursday night. We were lucky to be joined by former Ranger legend Ron Duguay, he provided great insight into the Rangers hot start this year and talked about his personal life and being drafted to the WHA. 

Gouche Live took a deep dive into the Jack Eichel trade to the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday, we analyzed some of the press conferences he did to look at how the situation unfolded from behind closed doors. We also spoke on Carey Price's return to the Montreal Canadiens after taking a mental health break. 

Gouche Live took a look at a number of storylines from around the league, none so as disturbing as Gary Bettman's addressing of the media where he deferred blame for Kyle Beach's sexual assault case. Adam Fox signed a 7 year $9.5M extension with the New York Rangers and our game of the night between the Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning. 

At 6:00 PM EST, Gouche Live will be joined by Liam Maguire to take a look at his struggling Montreal Canadiens. The Canadiens have stumbled out of the gate with an 0-6 record, including a 6-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings last night.

Jordan will also be joining us to take a look around the league.

Gouche Live was joined by former Toronto Maple Leaf, Boston Bruin, Washington Capital, and San Jose Shark Al Iafrate. Iafrate was a physical defenseman posting over 100 penalty minutes in six seasons during his career but was also known for his hard shot as he held the record for the hardest shot for 16 years, it was broken by Zdeno Chara. Iafrate will be playing in the Legends Classic on November 14th at the Scotiabank Centre in Toronto. 

Gouche Live continued its breakdown towards the NHL's regular season by breaking down the Pacific Division. The Pacific Division has a pretty wide gap between the top and bottom, with teams like the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers at the top, and the Arizona Coyotes and Los Angeles Kings look lost. Today we broke down the San Jose Sharks, Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, and the Anaheim Ducks. 

Gouche Live continued their countdown towards the start of the NHL season by breaking down the rest of the Metropolitan Division. Today we broke down the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals. 

The Gouche and Jordan started their second week of the countdown towards the regular season with the Metropolitan Division. The division has been one of the strongest in the NHL over the last few years, but there could be a power struggle at the top with some teams like the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Islanders look stronger coming into this season. On this show, we covered the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Islanders, Columbus Blue Jackets and the Carolina Hurricanes. 

Gouche Live was joined today by Steven Ellis from The Hockey News to help The Gouche wrap up the Central Division. Today we spoke about the Dallas Stars, Nashville Predators and the Colorado Avalanche, and things are looking grim for most of the Central. The Stars are missing a lot of upfront talent as Joe Pavelski lead the team in points last season. The Predators seem to have gone backwards after a first-round exit at the hand of the Carolina Hurricanes, while the Colorado Avalanche are early favorites for the Stanley Cup. We will be covering the Winnipeg Jets on tomorrow's show with local reporter Scott Taylor!

The Gouche and Jordan started off their regular season countdown schedule with the Central Division. The guys covered all the biggest questions facing this half of the division. The Minnesota Wild are coming off a surprising season that saw them beat the Colorado Avalanche in the playoffs, but they could struggle next year with Kirill Kaprizov still unsigned. The Chicago Blackhawks enjoyed a really strong offseason that fill a lot of gaps in their depth chart. St. Louis and Arizona could struggle next year, with the Coyotes being right at the basement of the league. Episode 2 comes out on Friday, we will be recording live on facebook.com/thegouchelive 

Gouche Live was joined by Paul Rosen as they discussed our plan for the next few weeks. Starting on Monday we will be breaking down all the teams by division to see if they've improved over the offseason and give some predictions for their seasons. On Monday we'll start with the Central Division breaking down the Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Blues, and the Seattle Kraken. All of these episodes will be released for our audio-only fans!

Gouche Live was joined by former Toronto Maple Leaf, Todd Warriner. The former 6th overall pick's NHL career spanned 12 years and he made appearances with six different clubs including the Tampa Bay Lightning, Phoenix Coyotes, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers and the Nashville Predators. Since retiring from the NHL, Warriner had a short stint in Europe before hanging up the skates. He is now the Assistant Coach for the University of Windsor Lancers and spoke about the challenges of returning after a COVID riddled season.
