Helping People Reach Economic Independence Through Real Estate Investing with: Axel Meierhoefer

Helping People Reach Economic Independence Through Real Estate Investing with: Axel Meierhoefer

As per CNBC, while there may be a shortage of homes to buy, there are numerous examples of individuals who have amassed significant wealth by investing in real estate. From big names like Barbara Corcoran to smaller-time investors like a couple in Michigan who earn $11,000 a month from their properties, real estate has proven to be a lucrative investment for many. According to a survey by LendingTree, real estate is the most popular way to build wealth, with 45% of respondents choosing it as their preferred investment option. The stock market came in second at 32%, followed by savings bonds, cash, and tax-advantaged retirement accounts.

Axel Meierhoefer , a retired Air Force officer, started his first company in 2005, focusing on consulting, employee skill development, and program management. These areas remain his focus today and have expanded internationally. He has always had a passion for education and helping people become successful. As a business owner, he realized the importance of saving for retirement and researched the best ways to do so. He found that owning tangible assets, particularly residential real estate, was the most advantageous and government-supported investment option. This led him to develop a residential real estate portfolio worth around $2.6 million, and he continues to grow it. Along his journey, he has gained valuable insights, made many relationships, learned about the pitfalls of property purchases, and made both good and bad decisions that ultimately led him to achieve economic independence. Picsume: A Hiring Platform Which Eliminates the Need for a Resume

Picsume: A Hiring Platform Which Eliminates the Need for a Resume

Employers are now looking for different things in the recruiting process, as per a July 2023 Survey of 5,000 employers conducted by LinkedIn. Instead of just focusing on traditional resumes, they are more interested in evaluating candidates on their soft skills such as leadership, listening, and their ability to demonstrate a positive direction of purpose. In other words, having good people skills is more important than ever before. Additionally, LinkedIn reports that hiring managers typically choose only 5 to 10 resumes for interview out of hundreds of applications received. This means that only about 10-20% of resumes make it through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to get an interview, while 80-90% are screened out through human review.Picsume is a platform that eliminates the need for traditional resumes and instead creates live dynamic work profiles for candidates. These profiles contain only relevant, pertinent and verified information. The platform's proprietary technology extracts current job postings, curates opportunities across Canada, and pairs candidates directly with employers. With their Applicant Tracking System (ATS) optimized specifically for small and medium-sized businesses, Picsume plans to revolutionize recruiting and staff management in the 21st century. Jordan Goure is the President and CEO at Picsume, and he recently spoke about how the platform is changing the way we approach work. For further information, please visit https://picsume.ca/ or email jordan@picsume.ca.

Defying Expectations Through Football and Acting with: RC Everbeck

Defying Expectations Through Football and Acting with: RC Everbeck

RC Everbeck's story is not your typical Hollywood narrative. He has traded touchdowns for footlights, and his journey has been as thrilling and unpredictable as any movie script. From charming Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" to tackling action alongside Robert Redford in "Sneakers," RC has danced with Hollywood royalty and carved his own unique path. His early days showcased a chameleon-like versatility. He donned the iconic black suit of the "Tie Guy" in "Pretty Woman," then seamlessly pivoted to dramatic intensity in "Spider-Man" as the original Eddie Brock before Sam Raimi re-imagined the character. RC wasn't just about the big screen, though. He graced our TV screens in shows like "The 90s Girl" and conquered the commercial world, his infectious smile and charisma lighting up living rooms nationwide. But acting was just one facet of RC's creative diamond. He delved into the world of casting, finding and nurturing talent behind the scenes. He even turned producer, bringing stories to life from a different perspective. Yet, the call of the spotlight never truly dimmed. In 2013, "Lie Detector" thrust RC back into the leading man role. His portrayal of the complex protagonist garnered critical acclaim, proving his depth and range as an actor. It was a triumphant return, showcasing that RC's talent only matured with time. But RC's story isn't just about Hollywood. It's about defying expectations, about proving that dreams have no expiration date. In his late forties, he walked back onto a different kind of stage: the football field. Not for nostalgia, but for the sheer joy of the game. Enrolling in community college classes for the fun of it, RC found himself back in pads and helmet, rewriting the record books as the oldest college football player ever to have over 100 plays non-special teams. This incredible feat wasn't just about tackles; it was about passion, about proving that age is just a number when you have the heart of a champion. And it's this very spirit that fuels his latest project: a documentary chronicling his journey from Hollywood darling to gridiron legend. At age 54, he is poised to make history yet again by signing on to become the oldest professional football player of all time with more than 100 plays with the Wheeling Miners arena football team in West Virginia Spring of 2024. The first game is on April 13, 2024. RC Everbeck's story is a testament to the power of resilience, the magic of reinvention, and the unwavering belief that anything is possible. He's an actor, a producer, a football hero, and an inspiration - a true Hollywood original who continues to write his own remarkable chapters. According to HubSpot, there are 4 billion daily email users and 37% of brands are increasing their email budget.

Most marketers use mobile-friendly emails as a part of their marketing strategy, and segmented emails are known to drive 30% more opens and 50% more clickthrough’s than unsegmented ones.

Most marketers send 2-3 emails per day, and 12% send a weekly email. About 77% of marketers have seen an increase in email engagement over the last 12 months, and smartphone users prefer to receive brand communications via email.

Testing your emails leads to higher ROI.

Tanya Brody is a Full-Stack Direct Response Copywriter and Email Marketing Consultant, who has worked with numerous marketing technology companies, information marketers, and other small to medium-sized businesses to improve their email marketing and overall messaging.

Tanya helps business owners write their regular nurture emails, so they can grow their relationships with their subscribers, get more sales, and create happy, loyal customers. Tanya believes that businesses of all sizes make two common mistakes: they either don't have an email list or they collect email addresses but don't email their subscribers regularly.

This can lead to subscribers forgetting who the business is when they send a sales email. Tanya emphasizes the importance of sending regular nurture emails to build a strong relationship with subscribers, so that they get the information and attention they need to be willing to buy.

Her goal is to educate business owners about the significance of email marketing and to help them set up their email campaigns for success.

Closing the Gap Between Business and Technology with: Chris Hood

Closing the Gap Between Business and Technology with: Chris Hood

Last year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce conducted a nationwide survey and economic analysis to assess the impact of technology platforms on small businesses and the economy. The survey found that businesses are increasingly using technology to improve their operations. Here are some key takeaways:

- 95% of small business owners in the U.S. reported using at least one type of technology platform in their operations in 2022, which is slightly more than the previous year.

- For many businesses, technology and data are essential to their operations, with 87% of small business owners reporting that technology platforms have helped them operate more efficiently.

- Small businesses that use six or more types of technology platforms have seen growth in sales, employment, and profits. 79% of high-tech adopters reported growing employment compared to only 62% of low-tech adopters.

- Technology platforms have helped businesses cope with inflation and supply chain disruptions without passing rising costs on to consumers. 78% of small businesses reported this.

- 70% of small business owners agree that without access to technology platforms, their businesses would struggle to survive.

- Nearly three in four small businesses articulated that tech helped them compete with larger companies and that same number indicated that losing access to data would harm their operations.

- Most small businesses are concerned about having to navigate a complex patchwork of state AI and privacy laws.

Enhancing Your Social and Digital Media Presence with: Luke Lintz

Enhancing Your Social and Digital Media Presence with: Luke Lintz

According to LinkedIn, 71% of small to mid-sized businesses use social media for marketing purposes. Among those businesses, 52% post content at least once per day. Facebook reportedly has over 10 times more brand engagement than other social media platforms. In fact, about 200 million social media users visit at least one business profile per day. Luke Lintz is a serial entrepreneur who started his first e-commerce business at the age of 16, after stepping out of an economics class.

Within 90 days, he sold his entire inventory worth $8,000, generating an ROI of 375%. Today, he is the founder and CEO of HighKey Enterprises LLC, a Puerto Rico-based company that specializes in digital branding and helps businesses become famous. Luke believes that entrepreneurs should focus their energy on the areas where they can make the biggest impact.

He thinks that value is not a commodity but a quality that is essential for great purpose, companies, and people. During his sophomore year in high school, Luke and his older brother Jordan Lintz started HighKey Technology Inc., an e-commerce site that sold futuristic tech.

They invested $8,000 of their own money into HighKey’s 1.0 wireless earbuds, after noticing a problem no one was trying to solve. Within three months, the innovative brand building helped Luke's social media presence explode, and the investment generated over $38,000 in revenue - an ROI of over 375%.

HighKey Technology Inc. evolved and attracted Stefan Aarnio, an award-winning real estate investor and shark, who brought unrivaled sales training and leadership. Stefan trusted Luke and Jordan to take full control of his social media presence, and as a result, HighKey Agency Inc., a full-service social media, and PR agency was born.

With multiple companies under his belt, Luke's entrepreneurial vision shifted, and his e-commerce brand and social media agency established themselves as emerging forces in the North American market.

Younger brother Jackson Lintz joined the ownership structure, allowing Luke to focus his entrepreneurial vision elsewhere.

Leveling Up Your Mindset & Fitness with: Matthew Silva

Leveling Up Your Mindset & Fitness with: Matthew Silva

Let's talk about time and its pressure-inducing nature. Time can often clash with our priorities, and how we choose to organize the events in our lives depends on our mindset and approach towards life. To achieve our goals and attain prosperity, we need to figure out the mindset and lifestyle that work best for us.

Although the answer to this is different for everyone, it is intended to bring us closer to the idea of collective excellence. Building new habits and changing our lifestyle can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending on how ingrained the behavior is that we wish to change.

Matthew Silva, a former United States Marine Corps veteran, served his country with dedication. When the government started getting unreliable due to Covid, he left the service. He wasn't sure how to be successful, so he worked as a bouncer at a nightclub for a year.

However, when his father was diagnosed with ALS, he realized that family was the most important thing. So, he moved to Florida to be with his parents and reset his mindset by reading books and seeking wisdom. He found his passion in helping others through loss (as his father passed away five months ago) and through fitness and mindset shift. He joined me this week to discuss his story.

If you want to learn more about him, you can check his Instagram account: @readyevolve.

"Alex Minicucci" I Can Train Skills But I Can’t Train a Relentless Spirit"

"Alex Minicucci" I Can Train Skills But I Can’t Train a Relentless Spirit"

Business resilience refers to an organization's ability to quickly respond and adapt to unforeseen changes that could threaten its employees, operations, assets, brand, or reputation. Alex Minicucci, the CEO of Relentless Management Group, believes that experience matters when it comes to building successful tech companies. Having taken his last privately held startup to the INC5000 list as the 66th fastest-growing software company in the country, he discovered that 90% of tech companies fail because the founders are not operators. To address this issue, he created a new approach called "Venture Advisory," where he provides infrastructure and advice to growth-stage software companies in exchange for ownership. His experienced team helps eliminate much of the guesswork and risk, allowing the founders to focus on building the best product for their clients. Alex's goal, also known as his "50 by 50" mantra, is to help create 50 millionaires by the time he's 50 years old. He dropped out of college at 18 to pursue his passion for the internet, and he has since self-funded, built, and sold multiple successful companies, all while raising two daughters by himself. His pragmatic approach to software company building has resulted in a high success rate with successful exits. This playbook became the foundation for his innovative new model, RELENTLESS Venture Studio, where his centralized team supports and grows multiple companies at once. With a dozen companies in its portfolio, RELENTLESS is set for rapid growth. If you want more information about Alex Minicucci and his ventures, you can visit https://www.berelentless.com/ or contact him via email at alex@berelentless.com.

Be Empowered to Transform the World with: Angela Burgess

Be Empowered to Transform the World with: Angela Burgess

As an American public I want to a pose an intriguing question for you to consider. How much do you really know about the function of Non-profits and the value they add to society?  The first comprehensive poll published by the Associated Press and The Indiana University Lilly Family Foundation philanthropy to measure public attitudes on foundations and nonprofits offers signs that charitable organizations are more trusted than other institutions, such as businesses, governments, and the news media. But it shows many warning signs for nonprofits, given how little Americans know about charities and the pessimism they have about the ability of charities to make a positive difference in the world.

Two especially disturbing findings: 48% think that nonprofits are on the wrong track, and only a third believe charities contribute a lot to society.

Perhaps most surprising is that only 5% of Americans think they or someone in their immediate family has been helped by a nonprofit, even though one in 11 work for a charitable organization and a big share of people are served by colleges, hospitals, cultural organizations, or religious congregations or participate in advocacy drives by environmental, civil rights, and other nonprofits.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post reports Over the past 15 years, nonprofit employment has grown 33 percent, dwarfing the 9 percent job growth enjoyed by the for-profit private sector over that time. Nonprofits have passed local government to become the second-largest source of employment in the country, behind the for-profit sector.

The top five states for nonprofit employment are all in the Northeast, with Vermont leading a New England sweep of the podium, along with Maine and Massachusetts. Pennsylvania and Rhode Island round out the top five. (D.C., that inveterate outlier, would beat out every state for first place — but it may not be fair to compare a dense urban core that is also the nation’s capital with the sprawl of your average American state.)

Angela Burgess empowers others to transform the world. She is the bestselling author of “Are You on the Right Bus? Navigating Change on the Road to Success” and the President and CEO of Broad Oaks Consulting. There she serves as a trusted advisor to nonprofit organizations on strategic planning, revenue generation, and investment development. She volunteers with foster children, participates in a prison ministry, and is on the International Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Angela is happily married and when she’s not trying to make the world a better place, she enjoys working out, cooking (and eating), and travel. She joined me this week to tell me more.

Surfing Towards Success with: Jeremy Ryan

Surfing Towards Success with: Jeremy Ryan

A diversified set of talents, experiences, and expertise can lead to business diversification and a broader audience reach. Your passion and purpose often determine the direction your life takes, and if you believe in this notion, then sustained success is within reach. Meet Jeremy Ryan, a former professional surfer who turned entrepreneur. He was born in Venice, California, and moved to Ventura when he was ten years old. It was in Ventura County, located close to the beach and some of the best waves in California, where he began to surf. At nineteen, he won a national surf title, which initiated his professional surfing career. He had the opportunity to travel all over the world, surfing in some of the most beautiful locations and competing in the World Surf League.

As he grew older, he realized that he couldn't be a professional surfer indefinitely and needed a plan B. However, working a traditional 9-5 job didn't appeal to him. He was searching for a profession that would give him an outlet for his creativity. So, he went back to school and studied web and graphic design with the goal of starting his own design agency. After starting his design business, he also created a clothing company, Ruett, with a close friend. Both professions have provided an avenue for his creativity while giving him the flexibility to continue surfing and competing. However, his true passion has always been surfing. Spending time in the water is a form of meditation for him, which provides immense joy and solace in his life.

He wanted to provide that same experience to others, so he started teaching surf lessons in 2019. His surf school, SPF Surf, has taken off, with students as young as five years old and professional surfers competing on the world or local stage. He has created a fulfilling life for himself, where he is busy with his design business, Subtide, his clothing line, Ruett, and his surf school, SPF Surf. All three businesses tap into different parts of who he is and have given him the flexibility to work on his own hours and be his own boss. This week, he joined me to tell me more. Regenerative Agriculture is a Popular Buzzword and For Good Reason, with: Sander van Stee

Regenerative Agriculture is a Popular Buzzword and For Good Reason, with: Sander van Stee

Regenerative Agriculture is a farming practice that is revolutionizing agriculture in Canada. It enhances soil health, biodiversity, and resilience, and helps farmers face the challenges of climate change. The Dairy Farmers of Canada report that regenerative agriculture is a journey to improve farm resilience and keep producing food. Farmers have learned from successes and opportunities in applying the principles of regeneration to mitigate the effects of climate change and offer ecosystem services.

The six principles of regenerative agriculture include minimizing soil disturbance, maximizing crop diversity, maintaining soil cover, maintaining living roots year-round where possible, integrating livestock, and understanding the needs of your farm. Canadian Dairy Farmer, Sander van Stee, is passionate about animals. He went to the University of Guelph with aspirations of becoming a veterinarian but later came home to the family dairy farm instead. In 2014, they built a new dairy facility centered around cow comfort, which improved the cows' health, becoming one of the top-managed herds in Wellington County.

Sander eventually wanted to do more to improve the lives of his animals but found there was no market for it. This led to the idea of "Moral Eats," a company that sources and delivers moral animal products because, for a solution to improve the welfare of farm animals to be sustainable, it must be profitable. Sander joined me this week to tell me more about his journey.

Turning Your Trauma into Triumph with: Jessie Torres

Turning Your Trauma into Triumph with: Jessie Torres

I wanted to briefly talk to you about the autonomy of choice and its role in our lives, even during our most vulnerable times. It provides us with a sense of dignity, identity, and self-worth. To assist us in the most challenging of times.

According to the National Institute of Health, Initial reactions to trauma can include exhaustion, confusion, sadness, anxiety, agitation, numbness, dissociation, confusion, physical arousal, and blunted affect.

Most responses are typical because they affect most survivors and are socially acceptable, psychologically compelling, and self-limited.

For the last 18 years, Peak Performance Coach and Life Strategist Jessie Torres has coached thousands of High-Performance People from all walks of life and various parts of the world who have achieved success and the highest level of fulfillment. Out of the top 120 coaches on the planet, Jessie ranked either number 1 or number 3 in every measurable category while working with the leading coaching company in the world. Jessie is fueled by a passionate love for humanity and a burning desire to end suffering. She is driven to discover the truth of the client’s most profound potential and unlock the limitless opportunities that leave others in the dark ages!

Bringing all levels of mindset, emotional intelligence, energy, and strategy with an authentic, client-driven approach. Jessie’s teachings will help you transform your life from pain or trauma into purpose and passion, which Jessie calls “Fierce Grace.” My journey has been one of Sexual abuse by my father, the loss of a brother to murder, and an 18-year marriage of mental, emotional & verbal abuse that left me completely numb, emotionless, and spiritually dead.

As someone who has lived with fear every day, I was driven to discover the truth of the reason I had experienced this and how I had allowed it. I have created a life of facing challenges over and over again. If it scared me, I put myself on the front lines because I feared everything. In my marriage, I was so kept and controlled that I didn’t even know how to drive out of the city I was living in. I was terrified to do things on my own. My ex ran from everything and turned me financially upside down. I was in massive survival; however, from that survival, I had no other choice than to make things happen and take care of my kids, and with a Fierce desire, I built a muscle of knowing and understanding that the limitation in our lives is only the “belief” that there is one.

She joined me this week to tell me more.

Making Unbreakable Humans Through Fitness and Fulfillment with Taylor Ros

Take a moment to reflect on whether you are moving towards or away from personal and professional fulfillment. Are you satisfied with your current situation, or do you need to make changes?

According to CareerVision and the Harvard Business School, only 45% of workers in America report being happy with their jobs, and just 20% are very passionate about what they do. Additionally, 33% feel they have reached a dead end, and 21% are eager to change careers.

Taylor Ros is a former professional track athlete, gym owner, and online coach. After earning his master's degree in Kinesiology, he pursued a professional track career and trained with Olympians and world record holders. He continues to coach elite athletes and anyone who wants to optimize their mind and body. He has taught a world-champion MMA fighter, USA Track and field athletes, professional basketball players, and busy professionals looking to achieve their best in business and life.

Starting a business while training full-time presented constant opportunities for growth and change. Pushing through a complete business shutdown to become a thriving business has been empowering in his sense of compassion to serve others in any way, shape, or form. As a shy and quiet kid, Taylor knew he had to change as he aged. He developed a solid mindset and became a successful business owner, professional athlete, and coach to elites. His determination pushed him to be his best with his actions rather than retaliating with words.

As a D1 Scholarship athlete and professional sprinter, Taylor took a leap of faith from his education in Kinesiology and opened a gym with his dad. He built a business while training with some of the best athletes in the track and field world. Since his retirement, he has worked with multiple professional athletes, business owners, and everyday people who want to elevate their lifestyles.
