Par Montana’s Kim Jakub Promoted
Par Pacific, the parent company of Lockwood’s Par Montana Refinery has announced several leadership changes.
Taylor Brown interviews Kim Jakub to learn about her new promotion into the regional role of Senior Vice President of Rocky Mountain Refining, which includes refineries both Par Pacific in Lockwood, and their Wyoming Refining Company in Newcastle, Wyoming.
Meanwhile, Par Montana’s current Technical and Engineering Manager, Jeff Dusch has been promoted to become Refinery Manager for the Lockwood facility, which produces gasoline, diesel, and asphalt, with a capacity of 63,000 barrels per day. The Lockwood refinery will celebrate its 75th Anniversary in 2024.

Last year five students from Winnett High School convinced their School Board to let them start the school’s first ever Ag Ed program and FFA Chapter. Now with an on-line curriculum, and a community volunteer Advisor, they are already studying and competing in FFA contests.
Now, to raise money for travel and competition fees, the new Winnett FFA chapter is holding a special “Gun Raffle” Fundraiser!

Level Up Yellowstone – helping local youth connect to communities that care with Alli Kieckbusch of Riverstone Health
Youth in Yellowstone County are facing a lot of challenges today, including substance misuse, mental health struggles and feeling disconnected from their community.
To address this issue, RiverStone Health has launched “Level Up Yellowstone” is a new initiative that focuses on building a healthier future for youth in our community.
In Taylor Brown’s interview with Alli Kieckbusch, Prevention Health Specialist at Riverstone Health, we hear that other communities have seen some exciting success after implementing this initiative; including a 33% decrease in tobacco use, 32% decrease in alcohol use, and a 25% decrease in delinquent behavior among youth.

Tracy Byrd became a household name on the Country Music Scene in 1993 when his third single, called "Holdin' Heaven" hit #1 on the Billboard Country Charts.
In this interview Byrd describes his second project with MCA Records, "No Ordinary Man", where the first single "Lifestyle's of the Not so Rich and Famous" reached #4, followed by another top five hit, "The First Step", then the chart-topping hit "Watermelon Crawl". The release of the 4th single on this project was "The Keeper of the Star's" which shot to #1 on the singles charts and pushed the album to Double Platinum Status, which certifies sales of over 2 Million Copies. "The Keeper of the Star's" won Academy of Country Music's "Song of the Year" award in 1995.
Later with RCA Records, Byrd's third #1 single was "10 Rounds with Jose Cuervo", on his way to 6 Gold Albums.

The mission of the 501(c)(3) Red Ants Pants Foundation is to develop and expand leadership roles for women, preserve and support working family farms and ranches, and enrich and promote rural communities.
The proceeds from the festival to fund their community grants, timber skills workshops and Girls Leadership Program.
