Simple fact. Close your eyes and open it. Your children are all grown up and have left your home! 😮 Would they choose to connect with you or you have to constantly fight to get their attention! I pray that the latter would be our story.

That is why it is important to integrate building memories with our kids every day and it doesn't have to be lengthy especially if you are very busy. A hug, walk together, playing games together, doing a chore together, attending their school activities, etc.

After all is said and done, what matters is that how our time here on earth fulfilled God's purpose or not and this is no different for your children.
Their experiences, resources, relationships, time, gifts, talents, net worth, network, competencies...EVERYTHING was designed to give God glory. That is purpose.
I pray that your children will live with this consciousness! That is true fulfillment. The "made" living according to the "maker's" intent and purpose!

No matter what kind of natural flair, interest, gift or talent we have, it must be honed, developed, tested even or it doesn't do much for anyone.
Our children will be outstanding and distinguished for great things in Jesus's name! Amen.

I have heard different interpretations of the parable of talents and I believe everyone of them. What really made the last servant bury his talent? Was it fear, pride, comparison, laziness, etc.?
Whatever the reasons were, they hindered his potential greatness, potential impact in the life of people, potential fulfillment of his purpose.
May your children make a global impact with their gifts in Jesus's name!
A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men. Prov 18:16

Will our children face temptations? Oh yes! They are facing them now and they will face many more temptations in the future.
Following after Jesus's response when he was tempted is the perfect remedy for overcoming temptations. Living and breathing the word of God. Even at the highest height of vulnerability, we can still overcome!
I pray that your children will take advantage of the power in the word of God to overcome the temptations they will face in their everyday lives.

It is a known fact that the friendships we keep can either make us or otherwise and this is not a different experience for our kids.

And that is why praying that God will give them the grace to evaluate their friendships on the foundation of the right values is a prayer point they will never outgrow. As your child benefits from good friendships, I pray that he/she will also be a good friend.

"I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me" is one of the most recited daily bible verses by our kids.
What we believe is what we believe. It's that simple. If the word of God says "ALL" things...then that is what it is.
Use every opportunity to encourage your children with this verse as they face life! I have seen it work countless times!

While the abundant grace of God is always available for us all, "diligence" is still expected and emphasized quite strongly in the bible, and rightly so.
How do you become remarkable and set apart for opportunities without this?
Whether your child is still very young or grown, it is not too early or too late for them to understand what this means. You are building and strengthening a value that would make them stand out in the future.
I pray that this understanding will not elude your children, Amen.

No matter how much we love our children, our eyes cannot be on them 24hrs of the day even babies.
Even when we are with them, we cannot guarantee their protection.
I pray that your children will be be and feel protected every day and in every way in Jesus's name. Amen

t's one thing when you thank God for your child and it's another thing entirely when people you know or those you will never know or meet, praise God for having an interaction with your child. Why? 

Because your child has refused to be hidden and is just representing the fear of God, excellence, growth and just really shining everywhere! 

Research says that an average person has 10,000 separate thoughts each day. That is about 3.5 million thoughts a year!😮
Each thought we have represents a choice we have to make, to dwell on it or not? Because the longer we dwell on a particular thought, the higher the chance for our actions to "showcase" to the world, this "interesting" thought. It's just a matter of time.
I pray that we will not encounter unpleasant surprises about what our kids have been dwelling on through their actions.

A sound mind is aware, alert and confident in its belief systems. It is not motivated by fear or clouded with jumbling, confusing and unhelpful thoughts. When your children are tempted or face peer pressure, I pray that their minds will be resolute on the right decision to make. I decree and declare that they will not take the wrong step because of the fear of being rejected or ostracized, Amen!

By the power of God, our children will not be LIMITED or feel LIMITED because their Father is limitless! They will not be held back or discouraged from pursuing those laudable dreams. They will dream wide! They will put in the work. They will succeed!
Yes they can because God says they can!

DECLARE this Faith Affirmation again and again and AGAIN over your children!

If you have access to your children's minds, you have EVERYTHING. Whatever has dwelt on their minds for a considerable time will determine their actions. So we must invest HEAVILY in that mind and not leave anything to chance. When they share personal experiences or their vulnerabilities, let us not react in a way that CLOSES our access to their minds.
We must try! 

In this age particularly, I have realised that if we don't pay close attention, it is very easy to raise entitled children. Declare this affirmation over your children with utmost conviction that they will always have an attitude of gratitude.
Always give thanks for everything to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 5:20
