Howdy folks, long time no see. We're back with our new podcast all about Kaiju and Tokusatsu films called King of the Podcasts. Here is the first episode.

Welcome to King of the Podcasts! We are two movie lovers who will be discussing Kaiju and Tokusatsu films! And we review songs from the Godzilla (1998) soundtrack! This episode we will be discussing Rodan (1956) or Sora no Daikaijū Radon (Giant Monster of the Sky Rodan). Also we Heroes (The Wallflowers) from the Godzilla (1998) soundtrack.

Y'all it has been a minute but we are back to finish the fight. Watch this space because in September we have a new project.

What's this? The boys are back? The boys are back! And we're finally doing it. Since the dawn of He's a Kiefer, we have been preparing for this moment. "The Fugitive" (2020). That's right. Jeffery Katzenberg, it's on. Next time, its the 24 spectacular.

What's up gamers, this episode it's all about gaming with hardcore gamers. That's right we're talking "Call of Duty: World at War" (2008) with returning guest and frequent gamer Carson. Next episode, who knows?

Wow it's weird to be back in the saddle recording new episodes. And this week I am joined by special guest Denver as we talk about the 4th and final Joel Schumacher/Kiefer Sutherland film "Twelve" (2010). It has too many characters. Next episode we're once again a gamer podcast as we talk about "Call of Duty: World at War" (2008).

"Last Light" (1993)? More like "Last Kiefer Sutherland directed film for us to discuss on this podcast" (1993), am I right? That's right we're looking at another Kiefer-directed movie in this, the last of our bulk recorded episodes. That means next episode will be who knows what, with me and who knows who as a guest. So come back in two weeks and find out I guess.

Some movies just have big student film energy. "Marked" (2014) is one such movie. Next episode it's "Last Light" (1993).

It's weird when we get to watch a good movie. But that's what "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" (2012) is. In two weeks we'll be discussing "Marked" (2014).

It's a very special episode folks. Not only are we joined by our good friend Carson Dolan, but we're taking a look at Kiefer's appearances on both Top Gear and The Grand Tour. Specifically S22E2 of Top Gear (2015) and S2E6 "Jaaaaaaaags" of The Grand Tour (2018). Next week we're looking at "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" (2012).

Confession is really just Catholic therapy. That's right this week we discuss "The Confession" (2011) which I've been assured is in fact not a student film despite evidence to the contrary. Next week we shall be taking a look at Kiefer's appearances on "Top Gear" and "The Grand Tour".

Sorry, I can't hear you, I'm "Trapped in Silence" (1986). Next week we're going to "Confession" (2011).

No Major Tom in this one if you catch my drift. That's right it's "Ground Control" (1998). Next week it's "Trapped in Silence" (1986).

That's right, them good old boys are returning once more to that favourite pastime we call the cold game by taking a look at "Names on the Cup" (2017). Next week we're looking at "Ground Control" (1999). 

We had such high hopes for "Renegades" (1989). Whatever. Next week it's "After Alice" (1999).

Seriously though, where she at? That's right, it's "Where Is Kyra?" (2017), a very beautiful, and very boring film. Next week it's "Renegades" (1989).

It's a short film, short episode, what do you want from me? Get off my back! It's "Duke of Groove" (1996), with little baby face Tobey Maguire. Next week it's "Where's Kyra" (2017).

Life is full of disappointment. "Chicago Joe and the Showgirl" (1990) is proof of this. Next week we will be discussing "Duke of Groove" (1996).

More like Movie Unwanted, am I right folks? Yeah, "Woman Wanted" (1999) is not a great motion picture. Next week, it's finally happening. We're watching "Chicago Joe and the Showgirl" (1990). 

CW: Rape, Violence against women

This movie is a lot. "Eye for an Eye" (1996) is just a lot. Next week though, we're looking at a film directed by Kiefer called "Women Wanted" (1999).

Nice.

This week we have found a little slice of paradise because this movie, "Paradise Found" (2003), is alright. Next week, we're watching "Eye for an Eye" (1996).

Geez, after watching this movie we really are "Picking Up the Pieces" (2000), am I right folks? And to help us do so we are Joined by Cassidy Brown, making her second appearance on He's a Kiefer. Next week it's "The Right Temptation" (2000). 

I'd rather cowboy down if I am being perfectly honest. Anyway, "Cowboy Up" (2001) is a bad movie. Next week we're watching "Picking up the Pieces" (2000).

We're back again for a spooky new episode. Alright, it's not that spooky. It's kinda whatever. But it is "Mirrors" (2008). So, you know. Next week, we're finally going to do it. That's right: "Cowboy Up" (2001).

Okay look, we release on Mondays. That's how it goes. Sometimes we do holiday episodes and they come out after the actual holiday. Anyway, we talked about "The Nutcracker Prince" (1990) which is somehow arguably the best animated film Kiefer has been in? Weird. Next week we're off again as I am moving. So come back in two weeks for something? Yes.

Okay so fun fact, we both had really cool audio issues recording this episode so please bear with us. Anyway, this movie is real dumb. That's right, "The Vanishing" (1993) is pretty dumb. Next week, we're extending the holiday season by daring to discuss "The Nutcracker Prince" (1990) on December 28th. You better be there.

That's right folks, we're back and we're talking about the great one, the cold game, and more in "Ultimate Gretzky" (2003). Next week we're taking a look at "The Vanishing" (1993).

These stories sure are something, I tell you what. That's right, we're talking "Amazing Stories: The Mission" (1985) this week. Next week, prepare for the "Ultimate Gretzky" (2003).

We learned a lot from the documentary "I Trust You to Kill Me" (2006), mainly that Kiefer is a pirate, and that he doesn't like food. Next week, it's "Amazing Stories: The Mission" (1985).

Woah man, the sixties were like... you know? That's right, it's "Flashback" (1990), a real movie! Next week, "I Trust You to Kill Me" (2006). 

Sorry about all the noise on this one, I have a cheap mic arm and it's giving up on me so that is why the episode sounds like that. Anyway, did you know Kiefer was in a pilot for a TV show based on "L.A. Confidential"? Crazy world. Next week, it's "Flashback" (1990).

It's real bad you guys. Shudder, what are you even doing putting out something like "A Creepshow Animated Special" (2020)? Anyway, next week we will be discussing the "L.A. Confidential" (2003) pilot that never got picked up. So come back for that. 

Okay, we're talking about a Michael J. Fox movie called "Bright Lights, Big City" (1988) and that's great and all, but the real story here is that Quibi's day of reckoning is at hand. So that's neat. Next week, it's something actually new! The Shudder original "Creepshow" (2019-) Halloween animated special thing. Yes!

CW: Aids, Loss of family member

Listen there was a part in this movie where one of the characters says something along the lines of "At least you're not shooting a wedding" and I felt that. "Behind the Red Door" (2003) sure is a movie. Next week we're discussing something else that is definitely a movie: "Bright Lights, Big City" (1988). 

It's Mark Strong's world, we're all just living in it. This week we talk about "To End All Wars" (2001) which if one Amazon review is to be believed, is the single most important movie ever made. Next week, we go "Behind the Red Door" (2003).

It's called "Young Guns II" (1990) but that dude at the beginning is pretty old. Seems suspicious. Next week: "To End All Wars" (2001).

I just want to reiterate, just in case, that we are talking about fictional events that happen in "The Sentinel" (2006) involving fictional characters. I cannot stress that enough. Anyway, kinda boring movie. Next week: "Young Guns II" (1990). Yeehaw pardner.

Welcome to He's a Kiefer: Year 2. We're talking about "At Close Range"(1986), a movie that Kiefer Sutherland is definitely in. Like, at least more than "Max Dugan Returns" (1983) okay? Next week: "The Sentinel" (2006)

That's the end of Year One of He's a Kiefer. Next week we start Year Two with "At Close Range" (1986).

In this movie, Max Dugan goes to Macy's to return a pair of pants that do not fit him. That's it. Also, I would like to apologize for how my audio sounds for the first half of this episode, I got some new equipment and I am still figuring it out. Oh, the movie is "Max Dugan Returns" (1983) by the way. Next week, it's the 50th episode/1 year anniversary spectacular.

Okay so it is a mistake, but not our mistake, we didn't make this film. But this week, along with special guest Avery Krahn, we endeavour to discuss "Flatliners" (2017). Next week, we got another guest, and we're talking about "Zoolander 2" (2016), and I promise, it's a fun episode. You don't have to watch Zoolander 2. Wait, where are you going? Come back! Sometimes we don't always agree. That's certainly the case with "Dead Heat" (2002), a movie about a horse. Next week: surprises! Stay tuned.
