The world keeps turning until it doesn’t. Most of us believe that everything is sunshine and roses in the household next to us. For Anna this is true. Her household was full of sunshine and roses. Until it wasn’t.

It seems that when we’re looking for something, we don’t always look in the right places. The places that we seem to want to look for answers, can be evasive. In these new episodes of season two we’re going to really take a hard look at where Anna came from.

This episode is just a short episode talking about the mountain people in their ways and help Busters mothers family Came from the mountain but she was so ashamed of that that she hid it so deeply she hoped no one would ever know.

in this episode Buster talks about his life and about his the secrets his family keeps. Secrets of babies born and forgotten. Secrets better left alone. Secrets he keeps to himself.

Buster knew the mountain behind the Shane cabin. His mother knew the mountain. A secret she kept to herself. A secret shared with no one. The Flags new the mountain almost better than anyone else in FOXCREEK.

Leroy mother was only 14 when she got pregnant by a married man who promised her he would leave his wife. He never had any intentions of leaving his wife. Leroy was born to a 14 year old unwed mother. Who hated the very sight of the kid. Leroy grew to be filled with hatred. Especially for women.

In this episode the neighbours can no longer turn a blind eye, they won’t turn a blind eye , but it takes more than a simple plan to rescue a woman from a man who won’t let her go.

In this episode Anna realizes suddenly that she has a friend and that that friend has seen every thing.That the things that she thought were hidden from other people, weren’t. Anna wrestles with the thought of leaving her husband. Anna wrestles with the thought that everything that’s happened is her fault.

When you are officers in a secret mission, keeping secrets even from your mom is pretty important. Jimmy and sally are deputized by their new friend. Their job is to spy on their mother and see where she is hiding her money.

In this episode we learn that Busters mother struggled with Mental illness and was in and out of the Insane asylum. In those days you could be committed for any reason that your husband wanted to. If you were depressed or had anxiety or your husbands affairs got the better of you and you went off the deep end, in you went to the local asylum for weird new ways to treat those things. Uncontrollable rages and the smile club were both a part of Buster flags life.

This episode takes place three days before the disappearance. Mrs Flag, Busters mother, is suspicious of Anna Shane’s intentions towards her husband. His previous history with woman leave a big question mark on why he is spending so much time at the Shane cabin.

In this episode Buster realizes that the disappearance has changed him. He can’t forget those three days of looking for the children. He can’t forget that his life has never been the same. Memories sit and wait for him to see what they mean.

Anna and the family settle in and begin their new life. Anna’s buried secrets don’t allow her to get close to others. They try to fit in it is not easy.

In this episode we learn more about Anna Shane and the children before she ever came to Fox Creek. We meet Leroy her husband the man they call cobra. One morning Lee Roy is busy burying money in coffee cans out back. Anna watches him, hopeful that one day she can get away. Forever.

In this episode we find out that somebody has been hanging around Anna Shane’s cabin and in the weeks before the disappearance she was having some trouble with someone from town but nobody can remember who that was

In this episode Anna makes a decision to steal the dog. Right or wrong it didn’t matter. All that mattered now was getting out alive.

This episode is all about how Anna had hoped to find the courage to stand up for herself, and to stand up for a dog.

A bond. A connection. Beyond any normal reason a deep spiritual connection is formed between the Shane family and a junkyard dog. This dog needed rescue from a cruel man. Could this family already on the run pull this off?

We named him Maximus Cooper Shane and he was the greatest dog that ever lived. A hero. On the run from someone, from something more terrible that can be imagined the family see the opportunity to save a dog. To rescue him. Nothing is ever that easy though.

Dogs are amazing and devoted. They save lives. But Max is more than devoted. He would give his life to save the children.

In this episode Nancy and Jamie are out playing in the back woods and meet a man

Anna was looking for a very private and obscure place to live. The old miners cabin on Fox Creek Road was out of the way, and extremely secluded. The perfect place to hide.

Passions were flaring in Fox Creek. Old affairs are about to be exposed. Sometimes the truth is found in small town gossip.

Buster is given Anna Shane stuff and begins to look through it and find the diaries that Anna kept all those years. Bust her may more than he bargained for you never know what happens when you read someone’s diary.

Many people gathered around to talk about the life of Robert flag. Buster didn’t know that his father was loved by so many people because when Buster walked away from life at Angels Landing he left it behind and didn’t wanna come home

In this episode Buster understands his shortcomings and where things went wrong. He finds out that Anna has some personal belongings at his old friends house.

When you are looking at old mysterious pictures you have to walk softly as you never know when you may disturb sleeping dogs.

Buster takes a old picture to town and finds how much it has changed and yet remained the same. Buster talks to Mr Ford. He wants to find some answers to what happened to the Shane children.

When he realized that it was all real Buster makes a decision to go home. He meets up with the people of his childhood and even meets his fathers girlfriend and her sharp comb.

This scene takes place many many years later after the disappearance of the Shane children. Buster has to return to Foxcreek to make funeral arrangements and finds a long list picture of Max.

A short story involving a magnificent dog and the two children who went missing. It is set in the 30s in a small town named Foxcreek. Even today, children go missing and are never found. This is the first in a series about what might have happened to the Shane children. It is a fictional story.
