Today my guest inspires us with her sweet soul. Erin Smith shares her experiences working with students as a school social worker after getting her Master's Degree in Social Work from UNLV and receiving her Clinical License as well as the impact of generational trauma within families. We talk about the gifts and challenges of motherhood and Erin shares about creating her business Picnics In The LV. We also shed some tears of grief over the past and reminisce on some hilarious high school memories. I've known Erin for 20 years and her pure heart has always inspired me. Las Vegas based fine artist & illustrator Joseph Watson & his wonderful wife Tamara join us today. He began his art career by airbrushing t-shirts in a friend's front yard to renting out a small space at the Roadium swap meet in L.A., meeting Mr. Cartoon & taking his advice of attending the L.A. Trade Tech for sign painting, then graduating from the Prestigious art Center College of Design in Pasadena where he was exposed to many different disciplines, working for a video game company & painting his first collection, to running his own fine art gallery for 12 years in the Arts Factory in the LV Arts District, raising their son, illustrating children's books, being part of history at the Historic Westside Legacy Park with his portraits of 36 influential African Americans that paved their way in Las Vegas, the art of time management & so much more. Our conversation reminds us of the power of beginning where you are with what you have, the importance of enjoying what you do, making it authentic and creating your own opportunities.

Today is a very special day because Las Vegas based Artist Jamari is here! She shares some amazing stories of a miraculous healing she underwent, of her time living in Belize running a culturally sustaining school & resort, surrendering to the mystery of life, being raised in a matriarchal Indigenous culture, becoming an artist and so much more! Our conversation truly serves as a reminder to have faith and follow our inner calling.

Today I sit down with the creators behind Desert Cactus Films, a Las Vegas based production company or as I call them: the great and magical visual storytellers of Vegas - Danny Chandia and Rachel Johnson.
