Y'all, what Colorado is doing to former President Trump is both petty and irresponsible. These types of moves are going to have very far reaching consequences that I personally don't believe have been seriously considered. These state and federal government entities are playing a very stupid game in our faces and in the end, who ends up losing? Regular folks like you and me. What has happened to us?

Hear me talk about my day. If you enjoyed the background music, it's the instrumental version of Lana Del Rey's 'Salvatore' from her amazing 'Honeymoon' album. One of my favorite songs from her and definitely my favorite song on the album.

The gay community still has a lot to learn regarding the stigma around HIV. Most of us are not whores, but broken people who made terrible decisions at dark moments in their lives. We shouldn't be punished for that. Living with HIV is punishment enough.

I know I'm late to the party, but I am eternally grateful for the people in my life that mean the most to me.

In the United States, if you don't have health insurance, you could be in for a world of hurt. Add to the fact that most companies don't want to pay you a livable wage and you're going to be in some deep trouble.

When it comes to the west (America) we put out that we are more self-aware and capable than we really are. Our government is supposed to look out for us but they're more concerned with growing their legacy than looking out for the people who put them into power.

Music is like a language we as humans can all speak together that can open doors and bring us together. Whether it's to dance or cry, music can do wonders for the heart and mind. Songs to check out

The only person in life you should EVER compete with is yourself. Competition can be a good thing in some cases, but in many instances, it can cause a plethora of self doubt and emotionally harmful thoughts. Keep everyone else out of your line of sight and keep on keeping on. The prize will come to you in time.

I am taking my late mother's advice and living life so true to fashion I decided to go to my first concert EVER and I saw none other than Queen Bee herself. I was super thrilled to have experienced this one time show but even more thrilled that Ticketmaster decided to offer me a discount ticket to see P!NK three days later for only $50! Of course I took the opportunity and had a much better time than I expected, but I don't know why I was so surprised, because P!NK is notorious for putting on a great show. I don't want to say too much here, so tune in to the episode to get the full blow by blow.

In the United States and presumably in other parts of the world, representation in media has started to become a hot button topic. Many people believe that we as a society should have equal representation, but to add more, means to take away from some... Or does it? That's what this episode is all about.

The gym used to be a place to work out and push yourself to become healthier. Now, it's becoming a place to hang out, make fun of strangers, peacock and get in the way and be obnoxious. When did this change happen and why does it persist?

Tiktok is controlled by a country known to have an aggressive history with the United States of America. This app could fundamentally aid the Chinese government with espionage within the USA without actually having to come here. If there’s any credibility to the accusations that tiktok is using personal data from American citizens with malicious intent, then a ban is necessary. After all, many domestic social media platforms are banned there. Looking at you Facebook and Instagram.

On January, 19, 2023, my mother passed. She lived a very unhappy life that I got to witness first hand. Ever since I was little, I was always her cheerleader except for the end, when she needed me most. I do feel a sense of guilt about it, but I can't dwell on it now.

This nightmare of mine actually happened to me tonight and I'm am not too happy about it. I've never been afraid of scary movies, but I'm home alone having dreams like this and it is not ok!

I Don't honestly understand why so many people are hell-bent on policing, other people's morality! What I choose to let my children be exposed to is none of your business, especially when it comes to books that you have never read and that your kids will never read! Why are so many people concerned about this book that's in the media called 'This Book is Gay'?! I don't understand. If you don't want your child to be exposed to stuff like this, then home school them, because I can assure you, as a former teacher, this is nothing compared to what their peers expose them too. This whole witch hunt seems to be about forcing one's beliefs onto other people, and that is something I cannot abide by. If you have a problem with this kind of "lgbt stuff" in your school, then you should be just as mad about books like 'the lovely bones' or stories like 'Romeo and Juliet' or 'Oedipus'. All this outrage over a book you don't want to understand is very telling and it's incredibly sad.

There are four versions of the "N" word. Two that are acceptable. Two, that are not! In this episode I will be using all four of them to educate people on their differences. If you know someone that needs to hear this, please share it with them, because we have come too far to turn back now.

During the pandemic, dogs and other animals were used to cope with loneliness and isolation. Once the pandemic ended, these animals were thrown into shelters, at least by American shelter reports, and largely forgotten. If you do not have the time, resources or heart to take care of another living creature, then please, do NOT go out and buy one. These animals have feelings, just like you or I and they deserve to be loved and protected just the same.

This is an "I told you so" episode. Don't you even think about questioning a gay man's gaydar! We can sniff out other gays like a pig looking for truffles.

This interview with Quintrell is about the previous episode I posted. He was the author of the Facebook post that started this whole, wild thing that has been, in my opinion, completely blown out of proportion. If you're going to listen to the episode, you should have heard the previous one for some context.

Validation is important for growth in both this society and on the world stage. Whether or not you agree with someone is moot. Their experiences should matter, just like mine or yours.

Biden has declared student loan debt forgiveness and the United States of America has gone nuts. So many people have so much to say, yet no one is going after the institutions who created the problem in the first place. I get it, you don't want to have your taxes used to pay someone else's debts, but do you really get a say? Do you honestly know what your taxes are already going towards anyway?

During my undergrad at The Indiana University of South Bend (IUSB) I had the pleasure of learning from some very knowledgeable people. It is my pleasure and honor to still keep in touch with one Professor who taught me so much, Doctor Tami Martinez. This summer Planet Fitness has allowed kids 13-19 to workout for free EVEN if their parents aren't members! How is isolating your PAYING customers a good idea?

Here you have me judging people at 7:20 am based off of their Grindr profiles. Some of them are gross. Some are funny. Some are sad and some just downright mean. I know this is petty of me, but I just couldn't help myself!

Every year, you have June come around signifying PRIDE for the LGBTQA+ community and every year I care less and less. Why? Because I know too much about the predatory tactics of the corporate world looking to capitalize on marginalized groups just to earn some money. I also don't enjoy being on the outskirts of the LGBT group because of my racial status. Many people of color feel excluded during Pride month because we are often never included. We can only grow as a community if we want to and so many seem to enjoy things as they are. It's sad, but true.

Abuse comes in many forms. One of type that many don't consider are abuses from your employer. You are told to do things because you are getting paid for it. But are you?

My coworkers, Karin and Desra, were having a frank conversation at work about life as a millennial as we see it. Thank you ladies for being a part of the conversation!

We're being distracted by the media again with the trial of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard, but this type of distraction is rather interesting. Men are expected to adhere to specific roles here in America regardless of how regressive and harmful those roles may be or what kind of toll it takes on the human psyche. I don't believe Johnny is completely innocent, but he's far and away the monster Amber made him out to be. Domestic abuse comes in several different forms, folks. Sometimes, the victim is the stronger one, physically, but that means very little nowadays. We need to understand who victims are and how to help them, because I believe all of this could be avoided if we taught ourselves to think outside of the man = abuser box. Don't you agree?

What does it say about a nation who cares more about a celebrity slapping another more than a war in Europe claiming innocent lives? Nothing good, I assure you!

Hyper-sexual comments in the gay community isn't anything new, but when will we have something else to talk about?

This is the direct definition of Gaslighting as given by Google: the act of undermining another person's reality by denying facts, the environment around them, or their feelings. If you know someone guilty of doing this, tell them to knock it off!

I wanted to ring in the new year like everyone else. Out with friends and family, watching the ball drop. Instead, I was hunched over in bed throwing up and crying because I was in pain and suffering from the cold shakes. COVID isn't a joke and if we don't take it seriously, it will undo everything we ever built.

Being seen as the "other" in society, and being treated as such, can have terrible lasting effects on a person's mental health.
