Episode Three: Dean D'Monic

In this episode, I interview male impersonator Dean D'Monic!

(Pronouns: he/him)

 "This Universe's Dean Winchester"

"The Shapeshifter of the Twin Cities", this kilted King can slip his skin at his own whim. Even though most of his drag is based around the Supernatural world of Dean Winchester, he is more then just a one trick pony. A member of Dragged Out and the Midnight Minxes, he's the Hufflepuff who punk as fuck.  The #1 Jensen Ackles Impersonator  This Universe's Dean Winchester!!!!

Episode Two: The Rebel Kings of Oakland

Episode Two: The Rebel Kings of Oakland

In Episode Two, I interview not just one, but FIVE amazing kings: The Rebel Kings of Oakland!

Watch the interview on YouTube: @kingsvoices pod

The Rebel Kings of Oakland are not your average drag king troupe. For 10 years, they have put on shows on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at the White Horse Bar in Oakland, the oldest gay bar in the nation. The Rebel Kings show is absolutely inclusive and welcoming for both performers and audience members alike. While some shows require more polished acts this show stays open to anyone who is interested in performing, especially baby drag kings. It is a space for everyone to stay true to themselves whether it is as a performer or a spectator.

Mission:

Our mission is to provide the East Bay community, queer and non-queer alike, a drag king experience with a safe, continuous and creative bi-weekly show to allow for gender-bending exploration through performance art.
