Persian descent (English mum, Iranian father)  & Born and bred in the UK 

Strength and conditioning coach & 90kg powerlifter in the British Powerlifting Union and the winner of the 2021 AWPC European championships last year. 

Currently working in the Crowne plaza as a gym instructor and leisure assistant, after having been there on and off since 2008. 

I’ve coached people in powerlifting as well as your average gym goer trying to lose some weight. 

My backstory is a deep one and it’s related to my upbringing. I spent over 20 years actively searching for my father and finally met him at the age of 31. 

I grew up as an only child to a single mother who was a heavy smoker, and who was in and out of hospital from asthma attacks and abusive partners. I spent my entire childhood in and out of schools, and I bullied and beaten daily for my skin colour, And ethnicity. 

My entire life has been a mission to find my Persian family and my mental strength comes from surviving the abuse I suffered at the hands of bullies and witnessing things no child should from a very young age.

He's done it all, fought em' all and he's got some cracking stories to tell. ad Coach - Stuart Davies a retired  fighter, with a experienced record in MMA  (20w - 20l - 2nc), Thai  Boxing (17w - 7l - 2d) & K1 (7w -2l -1nc) with 25 years martial arts  experience.  2 x British Muay Thai Champion 1 x European  Muay Thai Champion  Fought on, cage warriors, BAMMA, Dubai fighting championship..  Stuart is also a MMA, Thai Boxing & K1 Referee & Judge under the  ISKA..... I’m head referee at Fusion Fighting Championships and  showtime Supreme MMA.. also referee on Bellator, Ronin..  Started the gym in a village hall in 2007 - now in a 7000 square ft  martial arts centre..  Ex Army - 1999 - 2007 - Army foundation college Harrogate, then Germany ended as a Corporal - QRH - Kosovo Iraq 2003..  PE teacher at a child referral unit for kids out of education around Oxfordshire.. 2008 - now.
