This week we talked to Dr. Capital (ドクター・キャピタル ) ! He is a guitarist, vocalist, university professor and has an ACTUAL doctorate of musical arts. He speaks impeccable Japanese on his YouTube channel covering Japanese music. In the episode we dive into how he learned Japanese, how music theory helped him acquire pitch accent, and his stories of studying abroad and staying with a Japanese host family.

This week we talked to  Steve's POV (スティーブ的視点 ) ! He runs the channel Steve's POV where he shares his love for Japanese culture and cars, and makes video purely in Japanese. He runs a company for the Japanese and American market and he owns over 15 cars (including Japanese cars) in the US. We were really blown away by his level of Japanese and we just had to interview him to learn more about his story.  In the podcast we hear about his experience learning Japanese, how he got into Japan and cars, and his thoughts on American and Japanese culture.

This week we talked to Amandumb, a half Japanese content creator that makes content around Japan including translating songs into Japanese and covering them and cultural content as well. Her work has been featured in the Oscars and she has garned over 580K followers on TikTok with over 16 million likes.

On this weeks episode of the KoreKara Podcast we speak to HonmaniLawson who is a YouTuber, Tik Tok Star, dedicated student of the Japanese language, and much much more as you'll soon find out. Lawson was introduced to Japanese from age 14 and immediately fell in love with the language. This led him to study Japanese at Oxford University and embark on a couple study abroads to Kansai where he was able to pick up his dialect. Since then Lawson has been living in Japan for around 6 years and continues to add to his stacked resume of experiences with Japanese.
