2nd Day of Work in 2024
On my 2nd day of working from the office even though I am already in a project and is allowed to work from home. However, my work needs focus. It’s hard to focus when I am at the condo with my 2 girls. There’s no space. I also feel guilty and full of resentment why we can’t afford to live on a single income. But God reminded me how blessed I am for our Godsend helpers. When most people are finding it hard to find trustworthy ones, here I am having the 2 best ones. Thank you, Jesus!

Since my last podcast, here are the milestones: Anyana was baptized. Unyara started kindergarten at CIC Mandaue. We had a low key celebration of my 37th birthday. Hurray!

Househelp Fails!
We survived without a househelp for 9 months from May 2022 until February 2023. However because of my 2nd pregnancy and our 1st's schooling, we thought we need a backup. So last Feb 2023, we hired a help which lasted for 3 months only. Let her go because of cash advances and lying. We hired another help a month after in June 2023 which lasted 2 weeks only. Let her go because of cash advances and always late. In July, we hired another help again which lasted only a week. She went home because she missed her family. :(

Anyana Kicked Me Back from Overthinking
On my 34th week of pregnancy and the last week at work. Starting June 26, I will be on maternity leave as this time, we are aiming for Anyana to come out at week 37, starting July 7!

Started Sharing About the Family Day When...
Most expected a rainy Thursday and maybe a cancelled Family Day due to "Paeng". In faith and in support to my daughter, we push through with checking in at the resort the night before when the rain subsides. God granted us a miracle, there was no rain on Thuraday! It's very sunny. Yay! Thanks, Jesus!!!

Recorded together with an FB live. Initial plan was to thank all my greeters and do a react for the heartwarming messages. As a person with "words" as a love language, it never fails to warm my heart when I'm showered with kind words. Due to technical difficulty and "toddler" times, I wasn't able to open up my script and the messages. Lol You can still listen to the 30 minutes of blabbering but WARNING: it's in vernacular (bisaya). I tend to speak in roundabout when I speak in vernacular as well. :D

If you can see us in heaven Xy, I hope it made you smile when I told Unyara amidst the tears how she has a Ninang in heaven now. You know how I hated crying and even commented when you cry over a lot of things but today, I hope you understand why I had to.
You will be GREATLY missed, Xy! Women catch-up will never be the same. Thank you for everything! Losing you today made me remember the familiar statement – God collects good soul early so it won’t be corrupted by how bad the world is. Indeed, you are.
