This album marks Latin Quarter's 40th anniversary - but of what exactly ? Funny how things come into being. All of sudden there was a band, although singer Steve Skaith didn't even consider himself a real musician. 

The extraordinary "Modern Times" was Latin Quarter*s debut album in the 1980s. It contained the UK Top 20 hit Radio Africa.
