Joey Mitolo was a happy, healthy, normal (for a homeschooler) kid- until a Juvenile Diabetes diagnosis changed his family's world. Joey and his mom, Jennifer, join us to talk about what they learned as they rallied around each other to find a new normal, a new balance, and a new sense of purpose from what could have been a devastating blow. However, six years ago she found herself  being swallowed by depression as she lived for others without caring for  herself. Lesley went through the pain of watching her best friend die from Ovarian Cancer and realized that she needed to make serious changes in her own life, or she was going to end up in the same place. Cami Ford is the mother of a child who was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
