In this roundtable discussion, The Gathering for Justice CEO Carmen Perez, youth activist and Executive Director of Youth Over Guns Luis Hernandez, and Founder of The California Coalition of Barrios Unidos Nane Alejandrez speak about intergenerational advocacy. 

In varying capacities, Nane was mentored by activist, singer, and actor Harry Belafonte, mentored Carmen himself, and then watched as Perez has mentored the next generation in Hernandez and more. This discussion chronicles the importance of mentorship and courage in the face of adversity, and is a touching tribute to the years-long movements for justice these brave activists have engaged in.
