Episode 9: What Are The Akashic Records

Episode 9: What Are The Akashic Records

Hello Beautiful People,

In this episode, I talk a little bit about what the Akashic Records are and how I have used them to help my clients. Different practitioners may have different ways to work in the records as it is a vast concept and area. I have found it to be a beautiful space to connect with and receive guidance and healing within.

I trained with Amy Robeson she has a great Facebook page and I really recommend her level 1 training even just as self-care for yourself. I love finding different cool self-care tools and this is one of the neatest for sure. She also has some really nice meditations on Insight Timer:

Entity book by R. H. Stavis: Sister of Darkness: Chronicles of a Modern Exorcist. I really enjoyed listening to it on Audible. I also feel like its easier to remove and work with Entities in the Akashic Records then her method though its always a good idea to just work on boosting and clearing your own energy to get them to leave.

Hope you enjoy!

Warmly,

Kylie

Episode 3: Going Inside

Episode 3: Going Inside

This episode talks a bit about my journey to turning to my inside world. So often we are so focused on the outside external things that we fail to notice or take time to check in with ourselves. There is a whole world within each of us! This is not just a spiritual belief but is based in science.

As a culture, we are not taught the importance of our internal world which is why so many suffer with their mental health and well-being. All those memes or quotes you see that say things like "Happiness is an inside job" and "There is a whole Is Inside Of You" ect. Too often we look for external fixes to our internal pain like medications or work or material things or relationships ect when none of these things will really truly help we have to go inside and seek to understand and heal. Well-being is holistic and we need to meet outside needs too, they are important but if you do not take time to go inside and if being inside is not comfortable or kind everything else will be impacted negatively. Does that make sense?

Here are some resources I mention in the call that have helped me on my journey of turning inside. I am sure I have so much more to learn on this journey and so much more to discover but I am committed to sharing that with you so when you.

Vipassana Meditation Retreats

Colette Baron-Reid she has lots of books but I believe the one I read was called The Map and there is another one Messages From Spirit

I would love to hear your thoughts on this episode or what has helped you turn to your inside world.

Episode 2: Tips To Help With Integrating More Daily Self-Care

Episode 2: Tips To Help With Integrating More Daily Self-Care

This episode highlights a number of tips that can help you with integrating more self-care into your daily life.

1. Make a plan: Write out a plan for each day or week before the day or week starts so you know when you will be doing certain self-care activities.

2. Make it Achievable: This means not biting off more than you can chew! Start with committing to small amounts of time like 20 minutes of reading your book, a 10-minute yoga class, 5-minute meditation, etc then when you are doing the thing if you want to do more you can but the most important thing is you open the door to starting, to doing something that will help your mental, emotional and physical health. I always trick myself with times often when I get started I want more but if I do not it's okay too and I stop so I am not hurting myself.

3. Understand these are really important appointments with yourself just as important as a meeting with a Doctor or the Boss.

4. Pair new habits with already established ones. Like a new routine first thing when you wake up or when you get home from work or before bed. You can pair a gratitude practice with brushing your teeth, a breathing practice when you go to the washroom, a compassion or mindfulness check in every time you drink water etc you get the idea. A great book that talks about this is called The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do In Life and Business by Charles Duhigg.

5. Be compassionate and curious with yourself. Commit to getting to know yourself better and to show up for yourself especially the parts that might be struggling or resistant to self-care. What are these parts scared will happen if you did do more self-care? What do these parts of you need from you to feel safe and connected?

Remember also to do self-care from a place of love and care not a place of punishment.

Thanks for listening and I would love to hear your thoughts on self-care and what helps you with these important rituals and habits!

Warmly,

Kylie
