In this case an Outlier culture of a small family, their multi-generational henchmen, and regular traders and hunters who frequented the trading post and wilderness survival school have encountered fierce Barbarians and the survivors have been enslaved.  Th character grew up in this Barbarian culture, where their family were retained in their trade post and hunting capacity, to scout ahead of the Barbarian warband.

I describe the critter template and speak a bit about the system's inspirations.

oh, so when Sworn went missing Ioq looked for her and found burnt machinery severed neatly on the unburnt ground?  He activated the portal and went through?  Tixa's a real stand-up guy.

Okay, so, when you say, Mulder, you don't mean--  Oh, you do mean Mulder and Scully, and she's there too, on this O'Neil station?  Why?  Hmm...OK, I guess.

Sworn, now the leader of the Wanderers, urges Captain Ioq to consider how Lybrti's miracles are affecting the culture of their guides.  His horse is a horse, of course?

Captain Tixa Ioq's need to find the Nestled Islands grows clear to everyone in command, and with the Priesthood of Lybrti supporting the effort, Ioq is introduced to the Black Guard Uber Leader, Zhanyt Sworn.

The sense of Deja Vu is strong when I begin to record them that I second guess myself and have to check if I had previously recorded the entry (although i do leave notes for myself).

My nasal congestion is so annoying!

Looking to return to a regular schedule.

The deceased Col. speaks to Tixa from beyond; and, new friends are made.
