Jason Ragosta started his career as a storyboard artist at a stop motion animation studio, called Wreckless Abandon Studios in East Granby, CT. From there he moved to San Francisco and worked at the Academy of Art University, first as a film equipment tech before managing a sound stage for Diane Baker (Actress; Marnie, Silence of the Lambs) for several years. Alrik Bursell is a freelance shooter/editor/producer Based in Oakland CA.  He's worked on feature films and corporate videos. He has also directed four short films including Strange Thing, which played at over 20 film festivals worldwide.  You already know him as the main host of his podcast Making Movies is Hard which recently celebrated its 200th episode. I was fortunate enough to be one of his guest cohosts on that episode and many others.  We met when I auditioned for a proof of concept thriller short film and we became friends fast as we quickly began talking about genre films from the past and the present. And even though we may have our differences with our opinions on DC cinematic universe vs Marvels. Alrik is still a Talented filmmaker who is embarking on his first feature film: The Alternate  Alrik's contact information: Alrik’s IMDB Page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2736548 Alrik’s Personal Page: http://bursellproductions.com/ Alrik’s Twitter Account: https://twitter.com/AlrikB You can check me out on my website at ljeffreymoore.com Music for Lj Presents is by I dunno by grapes (c) copyright 2008 Licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (3.0) license. http://dig.ccmixter.org/files/grapes/16626 Ft: J Lang, Morusque The Vendetta by Stefan Kartenberg (c) copyright 2018 Licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (3.0) license. http://dig.ccmixter.org/files/JeffSpeed68/58628 Ft: Apoxode

Lj Presents: Tyrel Ventura
Tyrel Ventura is one of my good friends that I've known for about 20 years.  I met him when I was living in Minneapolis at the tail end of his  father's (Jesse Ventura) term as governor of Minnesota.  Before he began his career as a news commentator for RT's Watching the Hawks he began making short films and being a part of a few independent features.  His training for all this came from real world experience as he worked for academy award winner Sean Penn as his personal assistant.  It was there that he began to learn from veteran   filmmakers like Clint Eastwood and Alejandro G. Iñárritu.  From there he relocated to Los Angeles Ca where he produced tv shows like Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura and the films:  The Wanderers, American Rescue Squad, and my short film The Rage.  It was then that he met his co-anchor and friend Tabetha Wallace as they aired the YouTube news commentary show: Buzzsaw.  With the success of Buzzsaw Tyrel pitched a new show to RTtv and Watching the Hawks was created and is now enjoying 2 seasons of being on the air.   We began our conversation talking about past tv shows video games and the movies that we saw and liked.  We later talked about life in DC and the difference between working in the Hollywood system and commenting on the political system and main stream media  in DC and the rest of the U.S.  Enjoy. You can find out more about Tyrel by checking out his various social media outlets instagram Twitter And you can check me out on my website at www.ljeffreymoore.com Music for Lj Presents is by I dunno by grapes (c) copyright 2008 Licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (3.0) license. http://dig.ccmixter.org/files/grapes/16626 Ft: J Lang, Morusque The Vendetta by Stefan Kartenberg (c) copyright 2018 Licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (3.0) license. http://dig.ccmixter.org/files/JeffSpeed68/58628 Ft: Apoxode
