This past fall, eight La Salle students (Senior Joseph Kenzakowski and Juniors Eric Ford, Eyoel Kassa-Darge, Quinn Lanahan, Luke Melinson, Justin Morgan, Thomas Newell, and Patrick Voigt) and our principal, Mr. O’Toole, attended a speech at Villanova University given by author Bryan Stevenson. Mr. Stevenson’s book Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption was the summer reading book in 2018 for all our sophomores and juniors and seniors in some elective courses. This critically acclaimed work, coincidentally, was the “One Book” reading for Villanova this year.

The La Salle College High School Music Department performed another classic Christmas Band Concert on Monday, December 3rd, 2018. This year's concert included a choirs comprised of La Salle College High School, Gwynedd Mercy Academy, and Mount Saint Joseph Academy singers.

La Salle College High School welcomed back John Boring, III ’00 on Monday, November 19, 2018 for its latest Alumni Mentor Program Reception and Dinner. In his talk, John shared his journey from his time in the Marines to the private sector at Javan Engineering, the leadership skills he feels are most important, and what he believes it takes to be a “servant leader.”
