546 - When I Killed My Father - Interview with John Byrne Barry - 08-26-2022
Six months ago I was contacted by novelist John Byrne Barry about interviewing him regarding his latest murder mystery novel titled When I Killed My Father: An Assisted-Suicide Family Thriller.  I have to admit that the topic initially took me back, but after a phone call with John I decided to read his book, and found it a very good read regarding a topic that can easily polarize people on this topic.  So listen to this fun interview with John, and maybe you will order his book for an exciting read.   You can purchase this novel and others that he has written by visiting or purchasing it at Amazon. Good morning and good coffee everybody! Well there’s a lot of excitement on our farmstead this past week with the birth of baby goats. So far three mamas have kidded five babies, and we still have more to come. You know this winter was kind of hard with the death of one of our guardian dogs and three of our goats, but even in the darkest winters we can hope and have faith that a green spring will come. Living on a farm we are reminded on a daily basis of this incredible cycle of life, that for everything under the sun there is a season, and we need to enjoy those blessings as they appear.

508 - Happy Easter - 4/4/2021
Good morning and good coffee everybody! Yes, I goofed up the date in the podcast again. It is not May 4 it is April 4. This morning I woke up too early, and I was pondering many things. One of my ponderings was about the women who follow Jesus, loved him, watched him crucified and killed, and were planning to go to the tomb and properly prepare his body for burial. With their focus on what had happened over the days before, and thinking about what they needed to do that morning, none of them were expecting the encounter they were about to have and the message that they would have the privilege of delivering to Jesus’ disciples.
