As outdoorsman, there comes a time where most of us eventually are in the market for a boat of our own to get us to the duck blind, to the deer stand or to the fishing spot to make those memories of a lifetime and get away from it all. In todays world, whether purchasing a New or Used boat, the boat buying process can be overwhelming for alot of us.
In this episode, I will run you through what to expect when purchasing a New or Used boat in 2024 in order to make this process a little easier and a much more enjoyable experience. Get your pen out, your gonna want to write these tips down in order to make a better deal on your next boat purchase!

The temps are warming up and the trees are budding here in South Louisiana as we enter early March of 2024 and that can only mean one thing.....the fish are moving up and ready to spawn. Sac A Lait (A.K.A....Crappie) are an angler favorite, this time of year and we made a couple of trips to see if we could catch a mess for a cookout.

We recap our weekend trips out to the Blind River Basin and discuss how this fishery is recovering nicely after Hurricane Ida just a few years back!

Well, the time has come for us to sit back, relax a little, and look back on this past years duck season here in Louisiana. It was a tale of two season for our crew for sure. In this episode, we discuss how our pre season predictions turned out. Were we right or were we wrong on how we thought it would all go down? Maybe, a little bit of both to be honest. We break down what worked for us and where we went wrong. We also look to the future and helping educate new hunters coming to the sport.

We are kicking off Season 7 in this episode with just two weeks remaining in the 2023-2024 waterfowl season. It's been a tale of two seasons, so we get you caught up on where we are in the migration. We also ask the question, as waterfowlers, is there a hierarchy in duck species within your hunting practices or group of hunting buddies.

We discuss how the 2023-2024 season has gone so far and look back at our predictions on the season. What did we have right and what did we have wrong so far? We break down what has worked for us and how mother nature has forced us to adapt as hunters this season.

We are back in the blind this morning with my child hood best friend and fellow waterfowler, Troy Fontenot as well as Jackson. We are making time to keep a sacred tradition alive for another year.The biggest front of the year has hit us here in Louisiana and we are hoping colder temps mean a push of new birds before the end of the season. It's not always about the hunt however and sometimes my favorite parts of the hunt are the conversations and people met at the boat launches and this morning was no exception.

The work week is finally over and it's time to get back down to duck business. We are on the road tonight, headed West to get a couple of hours of sleep before we wake up to face the public land grind again. While on the road tonight, we discuss how many of us become men when growing up from the comfort of a duck blind. That time when you graduate from the babysitting stage to becoming seriously looked at as one of the boys in the blind that can now be counted on to help fill a limit. It's a right of passage in many ways and we all experience it at some point or another. In segment 2 of the show, we are at it again in the timber and we will tell you where we are and what we are expecting on this weekends hunt. Happy New Year to all! It is now January of 2022 and we are entering the last month of duck season here in Louisiana. This morning we are stepping out of the marshes and we are tucked up tight in a public land timber hole. Temps are still at record highs this morning, but a strong cold front is scheduled to make its way through during our hunt and who knows what to expect? This morning we sit, December 27, 2021. The week of Christmas has brought an above average "heat wave" of sorts to us duck hunters here in Louisiana. We are in the duck blind this morning to see if we can close out December on a positive, but the abnormal temps have slowed the ducks as well as the hunters that pursue them.
