Ep. 6 - San Sebastian & Million sentiments, April 4th 2013 (Story)

In this episode:

"I loved the colors of San Sebastian - deep blue, green and golden. These were the colors of youth, passion and a million sentiments. I enjoyed walking on the streets, admiring the old buildings, observing the people around, imagining their stories."

***

"Without a doubt, San Sebastian was the pearl of the northern coast of Spain. The annual film festival brought here some of Hollywood's brightest stars. But the city looked glamorous enough even without them. Roberto belonged to this place. Sophisticated - like the luxury hotels and business buildings, a bit pretentious - like the culinary specialties; talented, self-confident - like a person who knows his worth. Or rather – like someone who would put a price on anyone else, but not on himself."

Ep. 1 - Lisbon under the dim lights, December 18th, 2015 (Story)

Ep. 1 - Lisbon under the dim lights, December 18th, 2015 (Story)

In this episode:

"Bernardo's Lisbon was a different Lisbon. It was a city of seagulls, of night walks, of heavy raindrops dripping down the windows.

Sometimes, just sometimes, I could have a glimpse of this Lisbon.

Sometimes when I was walking down a street in Alfama I would suddenly feel nostalgic - not for something long lost, but for something that never happened. Nostalgia for some Lisbon of decadent poets, of beautiful facades and street lamps, of sweet wine and heavy conversations. Was I feeling nostalgic for a city that never existed, or for a hidden side of my soul that I never knew?"
