Joining us on the episode is our longtime friend, Kwame Adade! The lifelong Lebron disciple gives his thoughts on the NBA resuming in Orlando and if he feels the Lakers are at an advantage or disadvantage coming off a 4 month hiatus. But before we get into that, Kyrie Irving is leading a group of NBA players that want to discuss further the cost/benefit of playing in Disney World during a pandemic and with the amount of racial injustice in America. Will the NBA return this year? And for that matter what about the 2020-2021 season? We discuss. Enjoy!

Kyle Kuzma and Rajon Rondo we’re key contributors off the bench. Can they be trusted come playoff time? Our hosts then talk about Markieff Morris clearing waivers and joining the Lakers roster. Round of applause for Lord Pelinka as he delivered a Morris twin without trading away assets. How does the addition impact the Lakers rotations moving forward? Finally, the duo take a few moments to give their thoughts on the Kobe Memorial ceremony taking place at Staples Center 2.24. Can you find love in the clearance section? We’re about to find out! Speaking of love, congrats on the wedding, Danny! Can’t wait to have you back partner.

The Late Night Lake Show boys ( @Based_Dan & @MrRickySpanish) give live reactions to Adrian Wojnarowski's "breaking news".  We then debate on the best use of the Lakers newfound money -- should it be spent all on 1 max player (Kawhi) + vet minimum guys or should the Lakers chase D'angelo Russell and fill out the rest of the roster with complimentary pieces? To Live and Die In LA

To Live and Die In LA

The Lakers season hasn't gone according to plan and last night's loss to the Anthony Davis-less Pelicans got RJ and Danny thinking about worst case scenarios; like what happens if the Lakers don't make the playoffs? Surely Luke will be fired, but for who to replace him? And what happens if AD doesn't get traded to the Lakers this summer or big name free agents take their talents elsewhere? Are the Lakers stuck with an aging, disinterested Lebron and young players who haven't forgotten about being offered in every sacrifice for a star? And finally, if all that happens, will the Lakers the worst California team going forward? Yeah we went there. Tune in.
