Hoodoo, Voodoo, and Robert Johnson
Robert Johnson was a blues guitarist who had dreams and aspirations of being rich and famous. When he first started, his musical skills were downright dreadful, according to some. After a little traveling and some lessons, he became one of the greatest guitarists to ever live. Many think that there is no way that in such a short period of time he could accomplish this and that is why many think he sold his soul to the devil at a crossroads in the deep south.  Was it hoodoo or voodoo? Did the hell hounds come to claim him? We may never know what truly happened the day that Robert Johnson died.

The Richmond Vampire and The Church Hill Tunnel
When I was in Richmond, Virginia, I fell in love with the history and legends of the city. Rooted in history, the city is known for the train that used to deliver goods through town and the James River. One of the first urban legends that I fell in love with is the story of the Richmond Vampire. In 1925, the 231 locomotive was caught in the Church Hill tunnel when it collapsed. A few people made it out, but when Benjamin F. Mosby got out, the site was one that was horrific! On lookers said his flesh was burning and his teeth looked like fangs. Thus beginning the story of the Richmond Vampire.
