Apeksha Jain - Founder, The Gourmet Jar

Apeksha Jain is an ex-French-teacher and Food Blogger-turned-entrepreneur, who founded The Gourmet Jar, a brand of premium and innovative condiments that are completely natural and preservative-free.

Apeksha is an Economics graduate from Lady Shriram College, Delhi and has no formal training in cooking or making preserves. She is a self-taught confiturier who’s passion for cooking is guided by her instinct and a husband that loves food! The inspiration for her business came when Apeksha discovered the world of artisanal preserves & condiments during her one year stay in Paris. The banana jam was something she first tasted at a small orchard in Burgundy, and it was love at first bite. Apeksha was conferred an award for being an “Exceptional Woman of Excellence” by the Women Economic Forum, Delhi in 2017.

Anand Virmani - Co Founder, Nao Spirits & Beverages

Anand is the co-founder of Nao Spirits & Beverages, the company behind India’s first craft Gin, Greater Than. Anand honestly is elevating the drinks experience in India itself and also bottling up stories and experiences from across this diverse country to take to the rest of the world. Anand has so far launched a London Dry Gin and a Contemporary-style Himalayan Dry Gin – the only two gins recognized by the Gin Guild from South Asia.

Most recently prior to the Gin project, Anand helped setup three leading Cocktail, Wine and Coffee destinations in the capital city of New Delhi under the umbrella of Perch Wine and Coffee Bars. He has also worked with Remy Cointreau & William Grant. He was the brand manager for Glenfiddich.
