The human experience is like a lab - we take risks, we make mistakes, we reflect, we learn, we honor, we love, we stretch and then with stronger feet, we start all over again. Limitless learning and potential are always within our grasp! This podcast reflects on this learning and potential by opening up the tender places that are hard to look at and asks honest questions that seek truth.
This poem emerged from inspiration of a woman who is a dear friend of mine who walks in the beauty of her ancestry. Shonda Buchanan wrote, “Black Indian” and embodies love through her ancestry so gracefully. May we all do the same.
Often healing work is considered as an event or something we “do” rather than a way of being. I’m this episode I reflect on the characteristics of giving birth as similar to those in the healing process.
