Seduce ten ladies with your special green fog and then turn into a human, because this week Evie is chatting (read: FANGIRLING) over the redonkadonk web kdrama romance from 2020 called KISS GOBLIN. This one stars both Bae In-hyuk and also his dimples, and is both ridiculous and an absolute master-class in creating addictive tropey fun! Evie feels like she probably shouldn't have enjoyed it as much as she did, but oh well, if she can't fangirl on her podcast, then what is this thing even for? :) In this show she also talks about a million other Korean web dramas she has watched, including that one masquerading as a drama but which is actually a toothpaste advertisement. Yup. Visit Evie's Patreon to support the show and for extra episodes: www.patreon.com/EvieKoreanDramaPodcast

This is Evie's favourite episode of the podcast EVER!!! It feels magical to know there are other people out there just as obsessed, addicted and in love with kdrama as she is!!! :) Visit Evie's Patreon to support the show and for extra episodes: https://www.patreon.com/EvieKoreanDramaPodcast
99: MY ROOMMATE IS A GUMIHO overview
Swallow a supernatural being's 999 year old stomach bead, and then fall in love with him (because his eyes are so pretty!), because this week on the show Evie is discussing the 2021 fantasy romance comedy MY ROOMMATE IS A GUMIHO. This kdrama is beautiful to look at, sweet, romantic and fun, and is dominated by a fun, fizzy performance by Hyeri (who Evie is now obsessed with!) and is also dominated by the pretty faces of both Jang Ki-yong and Bae In-hyuk, as well as a lovely turn by Kang Han-na cutely playing against her usual type. Evie gobbled this sweet fluffy drama right up! Visit Evie's Patreon to support the show and for extra episodes: https://www.patreon.com/EvieKoreanDramaPodcast

Starring the always incredible Kim So-hyun, and also Song Kang and Jung Ga-ram, this kdrama hints at a terrifying social future dependent on the whims of corporations who create social media apps ... but focuses instead on a quiet love story and the emotional growth of one traumatised woman. Evie unexpectedly REALLY enjoyed this season. It was kind of beautiful. Visit Evie's Patreon to support the show and for extra episodes: https://www.patreon.com/EvieKoreanDramaPodcast
