Legible Scrawl Says HiJan 21, 2020
RTI: Bullpen Bulletins for 1-21-20
It's 2020 and we've got spiders on the brain! We're gonna dig into the new Morbius trailer, the ongoing saga of the New Mutants movie that did and did not exist at the same time, plus so many rumors to speculate upon. Plus, we talk about the future of this show and our new creative alliance with the Marvel Movie Minute. Don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you've got until it's gone.
RTI: Bullpen Bulletins for 12/19
Big moves at Marvel TV, a deeper dive into the Black Widow trailer, some new Avengers deleted scenes courtesy of Disney Plus and more as we give you our last news episode of 2019.
RTI: Spider-Man 2 (2004)
In which we revisit the celebrated return of the Webhead, still under the stewardship of one Sam Raimi. And we find our happy memories of seeing might not match up with our current viewings. From the relentless sad sack opening, to the mystery of Ursula, the wisdom of giving a Fortune 500 company to a high school graduate to how no one seems to think biomechanical limbs are all that impressive, we'll discuss it all as we revisit Spider-Man 2 from 2004 as our Fall Of The Spider series continues.
RTI: Bullpen Bulletins for 11/27
We're back with a bite-sized episode right before the holiday where people gorge themselves silly. We're testing out a new format too, so let us know what you think. In this episode we talk about the departure of Jeph Loeb, the possible future versions of Deadpool, a touch of Scorsese, the further adventures of Scott Lang and more! Plus we veer off topic to talk about the streaming wars. All this in only half an hour! It's a Thanksgiving miracle.
RTI: Spider-Man (2002)
The Fall Of The Spider begins with our discussion of SPIDER-MAN from 2002!
Let's go back, way back before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was even a dream of a dream, back when Kevin Feige was still a personal assistant working with Richard Donner on the X-Men movies and Robert Downey Jr was...not in a good place. Yes, it's time we take a look at Sam Raimi's classic film SPIDER-MAN. We discuss why it took until the year 2000 to get a Spidey movie off the ground, what holds up and what didn't age well, and get into some deep background on the Spider-Man lore. From organic web shooters to kissing in the rain, we discuss it all (except Macy Gray) in this first part of our new mini-series-within-the-series.
RTI Bullpen Bulletins for 10/17/19
In this episode, we learn with great star power must also come great responsibilities, just because a book has a Marvel and Disney logo on it doesn't mean it's any good, that sometimes even behind the scenes featurettes can be lying liars, we present a list for those who like animated super heroes and plenty more.
Plus, what is The Fall Of The Spider? Find out on this episode of ROAD TO INFINITY!
RTI Bullpen Bulletins for 10/2/19
Spider-Man is back in the MCU! We'll discuss his triumphant return, the known details, and how long we'll have to wait until this whole Spidey problem starts up again. That, plus the Marvel movie that Steve Jobs hated, a Disney ghost you've never heard of is haunting Disney+ and what rude gestures can you make with the new Nano Gauntlet? All this, plus some rampant speculation on today's episode of Road To Infinity!
RTI: Bullpen Bulletins for 9/18/09
It's time for more Marvel news, reviews and wild speculations! In this episode, we discuss the continuing fallout over custody of our poor Peter Parker, a way for anyone to read comics online for free (legally!) and discuss some wild ideas about who should play Moon Knight and Magneto. All this, plus can Deadpool work in a PG-13 MCU context? We'll talk about it all.
RTI: D23 Expo 2019!
In which we discuss all the crazy new Marvel news that was revealed at Disney's D23 Expo. We'll get into the sneak peeks at Black Widow and Eternals, discuss the madness that lies at the heart of WandaVision, get in-depth about the game changing nature of Disney Plus and wildly speculate about what those three new series will bring to the MCU. All this, plus plenty of asides about topics like the writing of Mark Waid and the strange history of John Walker. It's late, but it's still good.
RTI: Phase Four Revealed!
In January of 2018, the members of Legible Scrawl came up with a mad plan: watch a Marvel movie a week leading up to INFINITY WAR and put out a podcast about each one. And we did it! But little did we know the story wouldn't be completed until the ENDGAME.
Originally aired on the LEGIBLE SCRAWL SAYS HI podcast feed, here are all those episodes, and all the new ones, taking us through the Avengers' toughest hours!
RTI Spider-Man: Far From Home
At last, a new Marvel movie to talk about and a chance to break out the classic format (if we remember it). Peter goes to Europe and trouble follows him. But don't worry, our brand new hero and total 100% good guy Mysterio is here to save the day. I can't see how that will go badly.
From the new "Multiverse" to the history of the 616, the brilliance of Jake Gyllenhaal to the genius of Martin Starr, we're going to talk about it all. And some wild speculation about where we go from here, including a fan casting you won't be able to unhear. All this, and very little else, on our latest stop along the Road to Infinity!
RTI: Bullpen Bulletin for 7/15/19 plus Agents of SHIELD S6.E2
We've come to the end of a phase, and there's so much to talk about. We discuss Marvel life after Spider-Man: Far From Home, check in on how close the Avengers are to conquering Avatar, discuss Marvel in the theme parks (including a little history on Islands of Adventure) and more. In the second half of the episode, we get into the Agents of SHIELD's Window Of Opportunity. Will this episode turn Rob around on Simmons? Spoiler: probably not.
Editor's note: we had some tech issues with this one. The first half, one of the hosts sound like they are broadcasting from the bottom of a well. The second half features some really fun static that comes and goes. Neither are deal breakers, and both issues have been fixed in our next recording. Consider yourself forewarned.
RIT: Bullpen Bulletin for 6/26/19 plus Agents of SHIELD S6.E1
So much Marvel news has been flying around that we couldn't stay away another week. Some information about San Diego Comic Con, updates on the unacknowledged Black Widow movie that might or might not exist and more!
Plus we start our watch of Agents of SHIELD season 6, starting with episode one: MISSING PIECES. I try to get Rob up to speed on the last five seasons. Witness as I attempt to give Phil Coulson's complete biography in less than five minutes. Spoiler alert for pretty much the entire run of the show!
RTI: Bullpen Bulletin for 6/19/2019
Welcome to Road To Infinity's new incarnation, what we're calling our Second Season. We're going to be putting out more regular episodes rather than just waiting for the next movie to drop. As we go, we'll be talking about non-MCU Marvel Movies, Agents of SHIELD, the Netflix shows and more. But we'll also be compiling the relevant Marvel news of the moment and discussing them, which is what we have here. From the box office rise of ENDGAME, to the new AVENGERS game trailer and some wild speculation on SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, we'll talk about it all in this episode

RTI: Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Here there be spoilers! We come to the end of something and the beginning of something else. A movie of this size demands an episode of great magnitude, but you won't need to take a bathroom break in the middle of this one. You can just hit pause. From the mopey times of everything is awful, to the great time heist all the way to the big goodbyes, we'll talk about it all. To all our listeners: we love you 3000.
RTI: Avengers Endgame - Wild Theories!
Nope, we didn't get to see the movie early. Instead, we're going to discuss what we definitely know, what we think we know and what the future looks like for the MCU. I'll say this should have a SPOILER warning, as we might have gotten some things right, but at this point, we have no idea what to believe. So join us as we try and sift through the misdirection, hints, clues and insane theories we have about what ENDGAME might actually contain.
(TL;DR there will be no Deadpool in this movie)
Road to Infinity: Captain Marvel (2019)
O Captain, my Captain. At long last, Marvel realizes that women exist! Higher, further, faster, she's finally here and we're going to talk all about it. Joining our host is possibly the biggest Carol Danvers fan on the planet: Shannon Jelle!
Road To Infinity: Ant-Man and the Wasp
Let's get small...again! It's time to talk about the first Marvel movie with a female character in the title: ANT-MAN AND THE WASP! From the Mater effect to the oddness of Janet all the way to the worst scene in Marvel history. We learn that all things serve the Marvel machine. Joining our host for this discussion is Amy!
TFT - Resolution
Now that's how you end a season. We're here to talk about scrap metal bodies, the magic of magic microwaves and the "duties as needed" section of being a Caretaker. We've only got thirteen minutes to save the world, so let's get started!
TFT - The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos
We've come to the end of the season! A hideous face from the past returns! A character goes out of character!! And one of the hosts says the word "Whoopsie-doodle"!!! Listen as we discuss the less-than-shocking season finale The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos!!!!
TFT - It Takes You Away
A secluded cabin in Norway hides a secret hallway, wherein a strange alien named Ribbons has a magic balloon to repel space moths. And I didn't make any of that up. Plus: talking frog. Come away and listen to us discuss It Takes You Away.
