At the age of 11, Vicky Roy ran away from his home and started working as a rag picker at the New Delhi Railway Station, before he was rehabilitated by an NGO, Salaam Baalak Trust, Delhi.
Listen to this podcast and learn how he changed his life from sleeping in platform, picking rag to becoming one of the finest international documentary photographer.
He was awarded the MIT Media Fellowship in 2014. He was listed as Forbes Asia 30 under 30 in 2016. He also made to New York to document the reconstruction of the World Trade Center.
