Lane is joined by Ryan Richards and Kelen Conley to discuss one thing and one thing only: how bad was Michael Jordan at shooting three pointers? But in all seriousness, the NBA Finals start Thursday in Toronto as the Warriors enter their fifth straight NBA Championship series. Can Kawhi will the Raptors to their first championship? Will Drake somehow check himself into a game? Does KD, Boogie, and Iggy all somehow play in this series? So many questions, so little time, but the guys try to answer them all.

Brad Lowers joins Lane on a Friday that featured a whole lot of twists and turns! The guys cover a lot of ground as far as the upcoming college football postseason, including some deep dives about the format of the Big XII and conference realignment. During the show, Kareem Hunt was released by the Kansas City Chiefs, so that and the NFL playoff picture is discussed as well.

We’re at the halfway point of the 2018 NFL season, so Lane returns to the airwaves with Brad Lowers to talk about the NFL trading deadline, division races, and intriguing storylines heading into Week 9.

The NBA’s final four is set so Lane spends most of the episode discussing the chances of survival for the Cavaliers, Celtics, Rockets, and Warriors. He also lays out his 5 most valuable players (and coaches) for the 2018 East and West Finals. The NFL Draft is briefly discussed. Kelen didn’t make him look bad!

Hot off their scintillating appearance on Fantasy Football Bosses, Lane and I invite Anthony Sellers and Gary Wolfe on our show to not only be the first guests on Lemon & The Fro but to also complete the first crossover in the history of the Hyphen Podcast Group. We start off with some MLB playoffs, as Lane’s Cubs faced off against the Nationals in Game 5 of the NLDS that night. The Cubs pulled through but that didn’t stop me from putting the Nats in the World Series. We spend a few minutes talking about the USMNT’s failure to make the World Cup before recapping our Super Bowl picks at the quarter mark of the 2017 NFL season. Finally, our NBA preview quickly devolves into teams we’ll enjoy watching throughout the year as we almost all agree that the Warriors will repeat as champions. Lane and Anthony are all in on Believeland while Gary and I just don’t see the Larry O’Brien trophy leaving the Bay Area. Lane once again proves he’s built for this; Anthony and Gary hold their own, and I just fill in the spaces when they aren’t talking.

After canceling on Lane so much I thought he’d give up, we’re back with our second episode. We open with addressing Colin Kaepernick’s chances of getting signed and the ongoing National Anthem protests in the NFL (1:30). From there we switch gears to some college football, where I let Lane take the lead as I chime in with some grunts here or there (10:15). We talk about the winners and losers of the Kyrie Irving trade and whether the Cavs are still trying to keep LeBron in Cleveland at all next season (27:31). Things wrap up with some talk about Jon Jones’ latest positive banned substance test after he beat Daniel Cormier (38:47) which segues to our predictions for Mayweather/McGregor (41:50). I make plenty of bold predictions but I didn’t predict the winning numbers for the 700 million+ Powerball. Next time?

Then we give you your super early preview to the 2017 NFL season as Lane predicts division winners (I try, I promise) and we both make our Super Bowl picks and winners.
