Welcome back family! We are super excited to begin SEASON 2 of Let's Talk but God's Way. 

God has planted you exactly where you need to be at this moment. We may not like the season of life we are in, but God doesn’t give us a guarantee that the Christian life will be easy. He does, however, promise us that He will be with us in every season. He will strengthen your faith, and as your faith grows, you’ll be able to bloom where God plants you and bloom with grace. This episode encourages you to take advantage of the opportunities those seasons play in your life and be grateful for the present situation.

We all live for something, but what does it mean to live for Christ? Many times we base our relationship with God on feeling and emotion, but where does that leave us when we can’t necessarily feel God’s presence? Living for Christ is about honoring and pleasing God with your life regardless of the feelings we have. We as Christians should be a representation of the body of Christ. All Christians are not the same and we all take different journeys to get to our final destination, which is Heaven. If Jesus returned right now, would you be secure in the life you have lived? It’s a tough question to comprehend and personally often scares each of us because we all feel like we should be giving more of ourselves to God. Have you ever wanted something so badly, only to feel empty when you finally receive it? There is constant pressure to follow certain people, buy certain products, or do certain activities to guarantee success, happiness, and joy. These empty promises easily betray us because they cannot ultimately satisfy what only our Creator can. The act of vanity is the recognition of only one's achievements or appearance without the acknowledgment to God. The truth is when vanity rules us, God does not. In today's episode, we have joined with us Lexcee Grant to share our take on vanity and what experiences we have had with vanity within ourselves.

Fasting is seen all throughout the Bible as a physical way of reminding us of our spiritual need. In fact as Christians, Jesus calls and expects us to fast but exactly how do we do this and even more, where to begin? While there is a number of reasons for Christian fasting, the three primary categories fall under Biblical direction, spiritual disciplines, and health benefits. Follow along today’s episode where we share different types of fasting, including when and why we should fast to replenish and fill our spirit!

An archetype is an original pattern, model, or symbol, a persistent representation of an idea or concept. As Christians, we need to strive to represent God in a way that brings all glory to Him.
