As it turns out, Andre Bones has been more of a nuisance than we had previously thought. For the week of Halloween he cursed Justin's mic, which is incredibly ironic because on this episode he discusses his beef with a particular Kotaku editor for praising the Blue Yeti X as one of the best USB microphones...all while having TERRIBLE audio.
You better buckle up, you're in for a ride on this show, from hilarious jokes, to some of the worst audio we've had since Season 1 Episode 1, we cover all the hot news such as Tom Holland looking sexy as Nathan Drake, Quibi getting the axe for being the worst streaming service idea ever, politicians pretending to be friends of gamers, and Google (possibly Ex-Google) employees with mouths bigger than their careers.
LGAcast 081 - Andre Bones: There's No Disk, The David S Pumpkins Special, The Video Game
Nobody seems to be talking about video capture and streaming from the next gen consoles, despite the huge livestream scene, and Justin is concerned about whether it will be allowed for sure or not. Are we safe in just assuming they will allow video capture devices for streaming? Justin isn't so sure.
Andre Bones popped in for the second time, this time without violence and he had some interesting stuff to say about next-gen console production. Are the manufacturers going to push the digital ecosystem even harder and force brick and mortar retail out? Andre Bones has some words about that, and admitting things he probably shouldn't be.
What is good TV? It has changed so much over the last few decades, and nothing shows it more than critically acclaimed David Lynch television show, Twin Peaks. We discuss the difference in budgets from older TV versus modern TV and when things started to shift with Game of Thrones.
To round things out on this episode we dicuss the latest trend in flexing game developers use to promote their game, how much dialog voiced, or otherwise, is written for their games.

We are joined by Tim of The Cabinet Podcast and David of Dos: After You and for our episode, we take a dive into the history, content, and social impact of Slender Man, one of our favorite cryptids. We discuss everything from the inception of Slender Man on SomethingAwful to the Paranormal Tulpa Theory. Slender Man has shaped so much of what we consider to be a modern cryptid, and we discuss some other more recent cryptids that are spreading through similar means as Slender Man, like Sirenhead.
And in our second half, after David has to take off, we talk about the Ben Drowned creepypasta about a haunted The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask cartridge. We read through most of the creepypasta and discuss what's creepy about this story with Tim. It's a long and complex creepypasta that eventually turned into a full blown Alternate Reality Game (ARG) that still appears to be running to this very day, several years after it started. Our question is, is this just a big plot to pump up Cleverbot usage numbers?

Terminal News Sept 28, 2020 - Microsoft: Going Back To the Gamer Homeland
In this week's episode we skipped a couple weeks to catch up to October. Don't worry, we'll still release the backlog episodes! Justin has big news, he finally bought a Switch, and Marcus, the Nintendo guy, preordered the Xbox Series X, and boy what that quite the tale. I won't spoil it for you, you just gotta listen!
Now that both console had their preorder periods, we go over the timeline of major events involving these console announcements going back to June and give you a play by play, blow by blow events in the order they happened, all the way up to the biggest news of the week, ZeniMax being bought by Microsoft, one of the biggest purchases in gaming, if not THE biggest, totaling in at $7.5 billion. Marcus shares his conspiracy how he thinks that Besthesda didn't want to be bought by Microsoft, and the big secret reason why Microsoft wanted them in the first place.
The Microsoft stuff doesn't stop there though, they announced further efforts to establish themselves in Japan, the cost and design of the Xbox Series X and S storage expansion slot, and first gen scalpers.
This week also bought some major Amazon news, they announced a new streaming service we called Stadia 2, but they called Luna. It seems better than Stadia, and unlike Xcloud, it's seemingly possible to use on iOS. Additionally Amazon announced a crazy new camera drone that is part of your Ring security system. All that and a whole lot more!

Once again we're back with another installment of Terminal News, and the volume of news does not disappoint. First up: Twitter got hacked in the most spectacular possible way and we got to witness it unfold. After tht we covered the Ubisoft event which had a lot of stuff. We had more Trials, more Watchdog Legion, more Beyond Good and Evil 2, a surprise game release: Hyper Scape, Ubisoft's new take on a Battle Royale, Asassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay, and of course we can't not talk about the controversy over the misconduct happening within the company.
After that we delve into the Devolver direct, talking about Carrion, while possibly butchering the name, Sonic Fox and how great of representative they are for the fighting game community, Serious Sam 4, and the Devolverland Expo. Geoff Keighley dropped a bomb of info about all the times Valve has tried to make a Half Life 3 game, so we walk through that.

Terminal News July 8th, 2020 - Streamers, The Last of Us 2, WB Games Possible Acquisition, Sony's Investment in Epic Games, Expensive Next Gen Games, Exploitative DLC
This week is off to a rough start when Marcus and Justin try to create an AI to record the show for them which does not go well at all. Once the show as underway, however, we brought you all the best news. We discuss the dangers and difficulty of being a full time streamer, after the news of multiple suicides in the last couple weeks in the community, which then led to us discussing that Ninja is now streaming on Youtube. Continuing after that we talk about the USA banning TikTok.
The Last of Us 2 developers are under attack on social media over the direction of the game, we discuss our thoughts on the hate and the director's social media response. In other big news, Microsoft is looking to buy Warner Brothers Gaming division and we dive deep into whether this could be a good move for Microsoft or if something like Activision would be a better fit. Sony is also making big moves, investing a whopping $250 million into Epic Games.
This week we also further discuss the next-gen price hike of games to $70, and talk about DLC and cosmetics, how profitable games are, and how some publishers/developers (Capcom) exploit gamers by locking the end of a game behind DLC. In a tangent, Justin rants about how some people think Star Wars Episode 1 Racer remaster doesn't look good.

Jusin doesn't have much more about Elite Dangerous to bring in, but he was recommended a new game called Shapez.io that just released on steam. Imagine if Satisfactory was 2d, and about shapes, and there you have it! He has also entered phase two of watching Colony, knowing he will regret continuing the series not knowing whether it has a solid conclusion or not, which then leads to talking about finishing Symbiotic Titan which was an amazing show with an amazingly underwhelming "ending." This also ended up leading into a deep dive into voice actor David Posehn's long career as a background character for some reason.

Tonight Justin got hungry and spent the first half of the podcast eating, which means we got the hot dog minute on what's good and bad in the hot dog world. Guy Fieri would be proud. As far as real topics go, Marcus talked about his housekeeping, finishing up games so he can make room on his PS4, like the Spyro Collection. He also talked a bit about Avatar The Last Airbender, and a little more on Mario RPG. And finally we get to the topic everyone wants to hear, The Last of Us 2, except wait, neither of us are playing it! As it turns out, it's not really our cup of tea and we explain why.
Justin talks about watching Colony, a show that has been on Netflix for a while and goes on a tirade about science fiction shows that end without proper conclusions and worries about Colony. He also has a theory about Carl Weathers entrance in any show he is in. As far as video games he goes more in depth from his time in Elite Dangerous and discusses the mixed reviews on Minecraft Dungeons with Marcus which then leads into kids content on youtube and the weird stuff his son keeps randomly finding.

Terminal News June 29, 2020 - Industry Equality, Mixer Diverts to Facebook, Skate 4, Cyberpunk 2077, Pokemon Unite, Animal Crossing
As with every week, there's a lot going on in the gaming industry. Once again we address the ongoing problems with inequality and sexual harassment/rape and provide our firm stance in the matter, which brings us Marcus's brand new catch-phrase, which I can't put here or else the episode may get removed from Apple!
And if that news wasn't bad enough, we found out that the streaming platform we had a lot of hope in, Mixer, is shutting down and is diverting to Facebook Gaming. Can't say we're happy about any of the fallout of this. There are displaced streamers, and employees, all while the top guys either got a healthy payout from Mixer, or were offered a nice fat contract from Zuckerberg. Not to mention this isn't a good look for Microsoft on the same year they're trying to release a new flagship gaming console, the Xbox Series X.
Oh and a lot of other stuff happened too, like the announcement of Skate 4, Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners anime, Pokemon Unite (Pokedota/Pokemoba), a new Animal Crossing Update, and a whole lot more. You even get to learn about a certain pizza restaurant filing for bankruptcy and Marcus's Disney contraband!

LGAcast 058 - We're Living in Crysis Times
Welcome to episode 58! In this installment, Justin goes over the beginnings of his Crossout addiction and how much he's been playing. In fact, you might say it caused him to neglect editing and that's why all of our episodes have come out late the last month! That lazy piece of crap should get his act together, right?
Marcus, in typical fashion, is the star of the show, having played some more games! This week we go a little more in depth with Animal Crossing New Horizons. We round out the video games with a little Nioh 2, and then hit up the Anime Corner where Marcus has been watching HunterXHunter, and compares it a little with Yu Yu Hakusho (same creator!)

Nintendo had a "mini direct" where they announced or talked about a bunch of games: Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, Catherine: Full Body, Bravely Default 2, Bioshock Collection, Borderlands Legendary Collection, XCOM 2 Collection, Panzer Dragoon, Star Wars Episode One Racer, Kings Bounty 2, Shinsekai, Ring Fit Adventure Update, Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, Ninjala, and Clubhouse Games 51 Worldwide Classics.
And as if that wasn't enough, there was Nintendo Indie World which announced the following for Switch: Blue Fire, Baldo, I Am Dead, B.ARK, Cyanide and Happiness Freakpocalypse, Summer in Mara, Quantum League, The Good Life, The Last Campfire from Hello Games (of No Man's Sky), Pixel Junk Eden 2, Elden Souls, Blair Witch, Sky Racket, superliminal, Wingspan, Dicey Dungeon, Bounty Battle, Moving out and form Apple Arcade exclusive, Exit the Gungeon!

LGAcast 056 - Synthwave Needs A Champion
On this episode of the LGAcast Marcus and Justin cover lots of topics! If you love ship-building games or voxel games, you're gonna love From The Depths, Justin has been hooked on this game for a long time! After Party is briefily mentioned, it didn't really catch either of our attention that well as Justin hasn't played since this episode.
As always, Marcus covered a lot of games! In anticipation of Ori and T he Will of The Wisps, he plays through Ori and The Blind Forest and gives us his review. If you are a true crime fan, or a picross fan, you want to play Murder By Numbers. Marcus played it and enjoyed it despite not being a picross fan! Ori and The Will of the Wisps came out and Marcus played that and it seems to have major performance issues on the Xbox One S.
They also get into some non-game entertaiment. Marcus highly recommends the newest season of Castlevania on Netflix, and somewhat related, Justin brings up the new song by Nightrunner, featuring Dan Avidan of the Game Grumps on vocals. The music video is killer, and Justin dove deep into the production of the video, created by Knights of the Light Table, which seems to be made of exclusively of Game Grumps fans, helmed by an animator from Castlevania! And to round things off Marcus discusses the new Altered Carbon anime!
Finally we have our weekly community engagement segment, which this time is asking whether or not E3 returns to full capacity for 2021 or not with its physical presense being canceled this year. The responses are very polarizing!
