They join me on the show to talk about their new book A Real Good Life, set for release October 10th! Pre-Order their copy now on Amazon, B&N, and more!
“The good life you’re looking for won’t be found in the latest purchase, career success, or dream location—it’s found by intentionally cultivating the simple everyday moments that make up a real good life,” says Sazan and Stevie. “We say we want ‘the good life,’ but that often leads us to constantly chase after the next thing, compare ourselves to others, and feel disconnected and unable to enjoy the good things that are right in front of us.”
Throughout their professional careers, they have been purposeful about inviting people into their lives, one post at a time, to pour more love and joy into their “online fam.” While algorithms, platforms, and ventures change, their dedication to kindness and compassion remains steadfast. As true influencers, their impact goes far beyond the digital stage. Both Stevie and Sazan have been brand ambassadors and spokespeople for globally recognized brands including Target, Disney, AMEX, Macy’s, and many more. Calling Cadence: Americana/Soul Duo
Fronted by Oscar Bugarin and Rae Cole, Calling Cadence is a band rooted in harmony — harmony between voices, between songwriters, and between genres like rock, country, swampy blues and Southern soul.
The result is a sound that's as warm and diverse as the duo's native California, where Oscar and Rae first crossed paths. He was an ace guitarist from L.A. who'd grown up listening to old-school rock and roll pioneers like Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens, only to discover country music while serving in the U.S. Army in Kansas. She was a lifelong vocalist who'd grown up onstage, starring in countless theater productions in her hometown of Huntington Beach before exploring her interests in classic rock, folk and modern pop as an adult. Together, they began writing songs that blended their vintage influences — the dreamy pop of Fleetwood Mac, the sunny soul of Stevie Wonder, the rootsy rock and roll of the Eagles — with modern melodies.

Gable Price: Frontman of Gable Price & Friends
Gable Price and Friends is a 4-piece alternative rock and roll band, with a whole lot of damage to do and a whole lot of cities to play. The Redding, California-based band’s atmospheric music unfolds cinematically on their new album The Consequence of Being Alive with an exuberant joy that captures the ways we celebrate and embrace the failures and hopes, the fears and joys of being alive. Like Switchfoot, Relient K, Colony House, Gable Price and Friends exude a passionate, emotional intensity in their music, effortlessly combining high energy rock and roll and laid back symphonic folk with probing lyrics that capture the glories of being alive.
Gable Price and Friends are known for sentimental, provocative lyrics regarding the human condition, screaming guitars and bass, with driving drums that make you wanna get a speeding ticket.
Keep your head straight, hopes up, heart right; and remember to be a good friend.

Jim "Soni" Sonefeld: Drummer (Hootie & The Blowfish), Songwriter & Author
Jim “Soni” Sonefeld has had a prolific career spanning from touring musician in one of the top-selling rock bands of all time, to award-winning songwriter and solo artist. As Sonefeld gears up to release his fourth faith-inspired EP, Remember Tomorrow, he’ll be adding the title of author to his list of achievements. His memoir, “Swimming With The Blowfish – Hootie, Healing, and One Hell of a Ride,” published by Diversion Books, will be released June 28th, 2022
The Hootie & the Blowfish drummer grew up dreaming more of sporting victories than becoming a successful musician, but after that dream came to a close, he immediately began writing songs, performing, and chasing a music dream. With the unsuspected success of Hootie & the Blowfish’s 1994 debut release, “Cracked Rear View”, he and his bandmates found themselves traveling the world to support what would become the 9th best-selling album of all time in the United States.
The first single, “Hold My Hand,” a tune Sonefeld brought to the band early on, helped thrust Hootie & the Blowfish into its great success, and likewise showcases his songwriting ability. In the years to follow, the band would record six more studio albums and receive numerous awards, among them, two GRAMMYS®.
