#31 How to Develop an Opportunity Mindset - Dellguan Coleman

#31 How to Develop an Opportunity Mindset - Dellguan Coleman

Your Mindset can be your greatest asset or your worst liability.

In this episode, I sit down with Filmmaker and Entrepreneur, Dellguan Coleman. Dellguan is from Memphis, TN and his story is inspiring to say the least. He didn’t let getting shot and serving time in prison stop him. After being released from prison, he built multiple businesses. His film business, Movie Go, is only a year old and has been a success. Movie Go gives indie filmmakers a platform to make a profit and get their films seen. He's built a couture clothing line, as well as a lawn care company that creates profitable opportunities for the youth and ex-convicts.

This is an informative and fascinating conversation. We talk about:

* Marketing your Film
* Growing a business
* How to find your niche audience

#20 This Is How I Breathe - Bobby Huntley

Today’s guest is Bobby Huntley, the Atlanta-based director, writer, producer and editor, who’s quickly becoming that director you can’t wait to work with.  Bobby is widely known for creating viral trailers like N. E. Heartbreak: The New Edition Story; “Auntie” which is based on his reimagining of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air; and most recently, “ Corona Man: Stay Home”, a Candyman inspired trailer based on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bobby has also written and directed various short films and other projects that have been well received by viewers as well as his peers in the industry. He recently premiered a short film, titled, TNC, which he describes as an eternally immersive experience.

I’m so honored to have Bobby on the show. He’s a brilliant filmmaker, but more importantly, a great person.  Relax and enjoy our conversation about dealing with successes and failures in the industry; how to find the right team; and how he bounced back after opportunities fell through with his New Edition Heartbreak project.
