Godano Yussuf is an award-winning youth advocate with over 7 years of experience in the advocacy space for adolescents, women, and girl's sexual reproductive rights. She has worked extensively in the areas of ending harmful practice e.g. FGM and early marriages, Adolescent and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health (AYSRH), human rights and child protection and education. She is currently the head of programs in a rising women’s initiative locally based in her community and also the Chair for the Youth Coalition on ICPD25. She has been at the forefront of women empowerment in her county (Isiolo) and neighboring counties of Wajir and Marsabit.
